Leg 1 Selections: Nightout, Thankuappreciate
NIGHTOUT hasn’t been knocked about in both starts to date and ran a fine race when fifth last time behind Marshman. He may have finished third without being hampered and, with the two runs under his belt, he’s a leading contender in this weak contest. THANKUAPPRECIATE ran well again earlier this month when second at Ayr and is the biggest threat to the former in leg one.

Leg 2 Selections: Milltown Lily
MILLTOWN LILY has yet to finish worse than fourth in all her starts this year and was probably going to finish at least second over track and trip last time but for being hampered at a crucial stage when making ground. She stayed on strongly once in the clear and meets the winner of that race on much better terms here too. Whilst she still remains a maiden, this is a good opportunity for her to potentially make amends off a mark that’s well within range.

Leg 3 Selections: Blenheim Boy
A competitive race but the vote goes to BLENHEIM BOY, who ran a stormer when third at York on his penultimate start and gets into this race off a pound lower mark due to finishing down the field at Ascot last time. That previous form has loads of substance given the runner-up Blue For You, won a valuable pot at York and he bolted up on his handicap debut back in April at this course. This is easier and I can see this well-treated three-year-old going well at large odds here.

Leg 4 Selections: Al Karrar
The Tom Clover-trained AL KARRAR made a winning debut in great style at Windsor and backed up what connections had hoped for with an excellent runner-up effort in the Group Two Richmond Stakes at Goodwood next time. He may have even finished closer with a completely clear passage too and is bound to appreciate this easier grade. That latest form is red-hot in the context of this assignment and he should prove extremely difficult to beat with Luke Morris reunited in the saddle.

Leg 5 Selections: Matchless, Value Theory
MATCHLESS has been largely consistent this year and is only a pound higher than when scoring at Doncaster back in April. He ran well over course-and-distance on his penultimate start when third and should make another bold effort here. VALUE THEORY was ridden too aggressively last time and is better judged on his two previous placed efforts. He has a chance off this mark at these weights.

Leg 6 Selections: Nigwa
NIGWA was unfortunate to be mugged close home by an older horse when second at Nottingham last time having been sent off odds-on favourite but, nevertheless, this daughter of Sea The Stars retains potential and has shaped promisingly in both starts to date for her excellent trainer. With lots more to come and knowing she brings the best form to the table, she has an excellent chance to go one better in leg six.
