Leg 1 Selections: Hello Deira
It’s hard to see HELLO DEIRA out of the frame in leg one. This son of Expert Eye has finished runner-up in both starts to date at Salisbury and should have lots more to come for the Owen Burrows team. Ryan Moore is in the saddle and this good-looking colt sets a clear standard of those with experience. He should take some beating here and is fancied to get off the mark at the third time of asking.

Leg 2 Selections: Onslow Gardens, Paddington
ONSLOW GARDENS did well to finish second on debut at Newmarket when only finding the favourite Local Dynasty too strong in the closing stages. He is likely to go forward again here and is the one to beat, so should hit the frame at the very least here.
PADDINGTON is an Aidan O’Brien representative and has Ryan Moore in the saddle here. He is likely to have been prepared for this event and has already received market support, so he could get involved if street-wise enough on debut.

Leg 3 Selections: Dowally, Red Riding Hood
DOWALLY was very unlucky not to make a winning debut last time, where she made giant strides inside the final furlong to only be beaten a neck at the line. She would have won in another stride but, even so, the experience will have done her the world of good and she can go one better under Frankie.
RED RIDING HOOD is an interesting participant for the Aidan O’Brien team and Ryan Moore takes the ride. This filly is well-bred and is likely to have been aimed at this race for a while, so she could make an impact, especially if the market speaks in her favour, which is probable.

Leg 4 Selections: You’re Hired, United Front
YOU’RE HIRED has been below-form in two of his last three outings but he’s five-pounds below his last winning mark and was third over course-and-distance last year off a two-pounds higher mark, so he could get competitive here with Saffie taking off a valuable three-pounds.
UNITED FRONT could be the pace angle and all four of his wins (on the all-weather) have been off marks of 89, 94, 95 and 95, with the latest two coming in class-two events. This is a class-three event and his last start on the turf was in the Lincoln at Doncaster. Off a three-pounds lower mark, with Frederick Larson offsetting a further five, he must have excellent claims.

Leg 5 Selections: Rebel Territory, Positive
REBEL TERRITORY has won three of his last five starts and ran a very good race when sixth of 18 in the Golden Mile last time. That was his first run after two months off, so he’s likely to be fitter and this race is much easier in general. With Ryan Moore booked to ride, he may resume winning ways.
POSITIVE was high-class a few years ago, in which he was fourth in the Group 1 St James’s Palace on his only previous visit to the Berkshire Venue. He shaped well when midfield in the Golden Mile after a near-two year absence and could pose a bigger threat here with that run under his belt. He’s the class act in the field when at his best.

Leg 6 Selections: Port Noir
This race is extremely wide-open, but if you fancy Rainbow Mirage, then surely PORT NOIR has to come into the equation here. He was only beaten a short-head by the former on his penultimate start and is even better off at the weights here.
He was bitterly disappointing back at Windsor last time but conditions will be more suitable here and Taylor Fisher, who claims seven, is booked to ride. His mount should hopefully go very well at decent odds in leg six.
