MIRABELLO BAY has been in excellent form of late and comes here on the back of a good second over track and trip. The winner has scored again since, so the form looks solid, and he should be a big player in his bid to go one place better.

Leg 2 Selections: Isadora’s Gift 

Richard Fahey’s ISADORA’S GIFT ran a fine race when fourth behind an odds-on favourite on debut at Newcastle and she looks sure to improve with that run under her belt here. She gets a clear vote to at least make the frame here in leg two.

Leg 3 Selections: One For The Frog 

ONE FOR THE FROG produced a promising first effort when runner-up at Southwell on debut and he’s likely to go off favourite here. He should have loads more to come and is drawn well in stall four, so he’s going to take a lot of beating here in leg three.

Leg 4 Selections: Sea Grey, Artistic Choice 

SEA GREY beat a subsequent winner on debut and has run well in defeat in two recent outings to take third. He’s open to further improvement on just his second handicap start, while ARTISTIC CHOICE has been consistent in defeat in all starts so far in his career and should again make an impact with more to come.

Leg 5 Selections: Twilight Heir 

TWILIGHT HEIR won over track and trip off a three pounds higher mark last year and has recorded a win and two seconds from his last three starts. He should be right in the mix back down in grade. He’s also been given a good slot in stall one, so there’s a lot to like about his chances here.

Leg 6 Selections: Lafan, Alpha Cru 

LAFAN has course-and-distance winning form in the locker and has held his form well since, including when sixth last time. He should be competitive on stable debut for this yard, while ALPHA CRU arrives here on the back of two solid runner-up efforts and should make a bold bid from a good draw in leg six.
