Following 13/8 and 17/2 winners, Steve Ryder is back with three tips from today's action.

This looks a tricky three runner novices’ handicap chase but preference goes to the Neil Mulholland trained BRIEF TIMES (best priced at 6/5) who has a fitness edge over his rivals. The six-year-old has a good record of 3 wins and four 2nds from his 8 starts under rules including when 2nd on both of his starts over fences so far this season. He finished 2nd at Warwick on his reappearance in another small field before once again finishing runner-up at Uttoxeter 17 days ago.
Brief Times has a fitness edge over his rivals Whydah Gally and Dom Of Mary who both make their reappearance following 250 and 209 days off the track and he also has the added chasing experience over those two rivals too. That should be enough to see Brief Times go one better over fences and I expect him to prove hard to beat.

Another small field faces us in this 0-115 handicap chase where preference goes to the Anthony Honeyball trained LE COEUR NET(best priced at 5/2). The ten-year-old won this race by 31 lengths in 2020 on his reappearance off a mark of 115 albeit when rather flattered as there were only two finishers on the day.
Le Coeur Net has a good record in handicaps at Plumpton with form figures of 1222P122 and he has now dropped down to a favourable mark. He makes his reappearance off a mark of 102 which is 4lbs lower than his final start last season and a huge 13lbs lower than victorious in this race a couple of years ago and he looks the most likely winner of the four runners.

The Paul Henderson trained STORM HILL (best priced at 10/3) was running well on his reappearance when falling at the fourth last hurdle and he should prove hard to beat off the same mark here. He finished well beaten on his hurdling debut at Newbury in February before springing a surprise when victorious by four lengths here over 2 miles in a maiden hurdle despite being sent off an unfancied 40/1 shot.
Storm Hill was a well backed 5/1 shot on his handicap debut on his reappearance off a mark of 101 and he was travelling notably well before falling at the fourth last hurdle. He races here off the same mark and should prove hard to beat with Jamie Moore taking over.
