Architect Tips shares his Tote Placepot tips for today's action at Musselburgh.
12:50 Musselburgh
Leg 1 Selections: Fever Roque, Massini Man
FEVER ROQUE progressed over hurdles last term and shaped well when third on his chase debut. Open to further improvement, he could go well, while MASSINI MAN showed a good attitude to win over track and trip last time and could produce another bold display in this race.

Leg 2 Selections: Bents Hollow
This is a good opportunity for BENTS HOLLOW to make a successful stable debut. His two rivals have been largely disappointing under rules thus far and this point winner has joined a stable who are going great guns so far this term. He should have no trouble dispatching his two rivals and the betting suggests that will happen too.

Leg 3 Selections: Half Shot
HALF SHOT looks the answer to this race. He is two-from-four for this stable and impressed when winning by ten lengths last time over fences. His jumping was very assured so while he’s been hit with a six pounds rise, that shouldn’t be enough to prevent him from following up in this hurdle race.
14:30 Musselburgh
Leg 4 Selections: Monte Igueldo
MONTE IGUELDO beat a useful sort on his penultimate start and supplemented that victory with success at Huntingdon last time on his chase debut. He has been hit with a rise in the weights but he was so impressive that day and a repeat showing could see him complete the hat-trick here. His rivals need to show a lot more to trouble the in-form five-year-old.

Leg 5 Selections: Smart Lass, Cuban Cigar
SMART LASS won twice here on the Flat last year and won over course-and-distance the last time we saw her over hurdles. She’s a huge danger to all in this line-up. CUBAN CIGAR has been in good form of late and has run well various times at this course before, so he’s not to be taken lightly here.
15:35 Musselburgh
Leg 6 Selections: Kiss My Face
KISS MY FACE fended off all his rivals when scoring at Hereford thirteen days ago and it’s possible the same headgear will work again having only been put up four pounds. He should take some beating with more to come.
