CONISTON CLOUDS is related to a number of decent horses and ran a promising race when second of five in a bumper at Carlisle on debut back in March. He should easily advance his form now faced with a set of hurdles and should hold strong claims here.

Leg 2 Selections: Bestiarius

BESTIARIUS is often consistent and ran another sound race when second over course-and-distance nineteen days ago. A further two pounds rise shouldn’t prevent another bold effort given he’s made the frame off higher marks in the past. This is a weak race, so he might be able to get his head in front here.

Leg 3 Selections: Shoeshine Boy

SHOESHINE BOY looked badly in need of his return at this track last month and should be a lot fitter here. He had previously finished second five times before finally coming good at Ayr and is only three pounds above that winning mark in this race. With track, trip and conditions holding no fears, he could go well at decent odds.

Leg 4 Selections: Miss Milano 

MISS MILANO displayed significant improvement from her previous efforts when getting off the mark at Wetherby last time. Nicky Richards’ mare has gone up five pounds but that success would have done her confidence the world of good and she gets quite a strong vote to go in again here.

Leg 5 Selections: Tfou

TFOU shaped well in three hurdle events before opening his account in good style over fences last-time-out. He should have plenty more to come despite being hit with a nine pounds rise for that latest success. None of these can be taken lightly but Nicky Richards’ charge appeals most on these terms.

Leg 6 Selections: Camp Belan, Gipsy Lee Rose 

CAMP BELAN has run well in defeat plenty of times on soft ground and has finished second three times already over fences in just five starts. He could go one better, while GIPSY LEE ROSE has been really consistent this year and should be thereabouts again here.
