Architect Tips shares his Tote Placepot tips for today's action at Wolverhampton.
Leg 1 Selections: Tathmeen, Tahonta
TATHMEEN hasn’t won for a while but he’s twenty-one pounds below his last winning mark, which came at this course, and could easily surprise a few at large odds here. TAHONTA shaped well on stable debut earlier this month over course-and-distance and is one to be interested in here.
Leg 2 Selections: On Edge, Glorious Charmer
ON EDGE has held his form well since winning at Chepstow back in August and remains on the same mark as when third at Brighton when last spotted. He has to be considered a leading player here, while GLORIOUS CHARMER is a course-and-distance winner and is one to never discount at this course.
Leg 3 Selections: Second Collection
SECOND COLLECTION is a speculative vote in this wide-open race. She’s ran well the last two times, including when fourth here on her penultimate start when forced to race wide around the field. She’s won and placed multiple times around here previously, so she’s well-treated at present and has place claims at the very least here.
Leg 4 Selections: Fairmac
FAIRMAC ran a good race from the front when runner-up at Chelmsford last-time-out when narrowly touched off by a horse who was completing a double. These opponents appear to be slightly easier, so under another positive ride from a nice slot in stall three, he could go one place better here.
Leg 5 Selections: Baccarat Baby
BACCARAT BABY has only found one too good in both her starts to date, displaying promise in each start, and chased home Fully Wet last time, who subsequently finished second in a Listed event on her next start. That is the best form on offer, so this filly gets a confident vote to take the spoils for Rossa Ryan and Ralph Beckett here.
Leg 6 Selections: Overactive
A tricky maiden to solve but OVERACTIVE is closely related to the smart stayer Dashing Willoughby and trainer Ralph Beckett is no stranger to readying a newcomer. Rossa Ryan in the saddle and, from a handy enough draw in stall four, he could be the answer to this race.
