Struggling to find his best form since returning from a Summer break, the son of Showcasing had dropped down to the sort of mark that last allowed him to be successful and true to form, he duly capitalised. Not going unnoticed by many in the pre-race market, the eight-year-old found himself in the perfect position to land the gamble throughout and once the field had turned into the home straight, there was only going to be one result.

Scoring with any amount in hand, he arrives here with his confidence sufficiently boosted and with an overall record at tonight’s Sunbury venue that suggests he’s very likely to run his race, the all-weather specialist can take his winning tally on an artificial surface to 10.
