Leg 1 Selections: Attrazione

ATTRAZIONE was off the mark at the eighth attempt when scoring at Southwell eight days ago, looking well-suited by the step up to a mile for the first time. She deserved that after making the frame three times beforehand and, with lots more to come, she looks set to follow-up in this race by taking the opener. 

Leg 2 Selections: Fine Balance 

The George Boughey-trained FINE BALANCE shaped with a lot of promise when third over course-and-distance on debut and will have learnt a lot from that experience too. She should appreciate the drop in distance and this is a very moderate contest, so it would be quite disappointing if she couldn’t go close to taking the spoils back here. 

Leg 3 Selections: Cailin Saoirse

CAILIN SAOIRSE could hardly have been in better form of late given she’s won her last two events over course-and-distance in good style. She went up seven-pounds for her latest success but she is clearly at the top of her game and has an excellent chance to complete the hat-trick here. 

Leg 4 Selections: Creek Harbour, Divine Connection

CREEK HARBOUR is twelve pounds below his last winning mark and looked back to form when second at this course nine days ago. The seven-year-old is drawn well and should play a big part in the outcome of this race. 

DIVINE CONNECTION has been in good form since scoring at Pontefract, in which she’s finished runner-up the last two times on the all-weather, including over track and trip on her penultimate start. She has to have a good chance off the same mark. 

Leg 5 Selections: My Boy Jack, Black Box 

MY BOY JACK has still yet to score but has made the frame in five of his last six starts and it seems only a matter of time before he gets his head in front. The widest draw to overcome isn’t ideal but otherwise he’s well-treated and could prove tough to beat here.

BLACK BOX ran a really nice race when fourth here last-time-out and should appreciate the drop in distance, so she is another one to consider.

Leg 6 Selections: Muscika, Intervention 

MUSCIKA won over course-and-distance around this time last year off a nine-pounds higher mark and has looked on good terms with himself the last two times with a win and a place at this course last time. 

He is drawn well in stall three and should be thereabouts, while INTERVENTION won over track and trip earlier this year and is only two-pounds above his last winning mark, so he cannot be dismissed.
