Architect Tips shares his Tote Placepot tips for today's action at Kempton.
17:30 Kempton
Leg 1 Selections: Super Mo
The David Simcock-trained SUPER MO ran a really eye-catching race when a keeping-on fourth behind Ferrari Queen on debut over 7f here.
He then improved on that promise when second back here next time over 1m behind Dubai Mile, who subsequently went on to finish second in the Royal Lodge and win the Criterium de Saint-Cloud in France.
That is the best piece of form on offer and, with Jamie Spencer back in the saddle and the combination of a longer trip and good draw in stall 1 to contend with, he gets the vote in the opener.

Leg 2 Selections: Ready Reckoner, Strike Alliance, Bernadine
READY RECKONER should be ready to win one of these before too long. She was unlucky not to finish closer than fourth at Southwell three weeks ago and would have done so otherwise.
She is ideally drawn well in stall 5 and Jamie Spencer has been booked to ride this time around plus the additional cheekpieces are applied for the first time. She gets the first choice in leg 2.
Andrew Balding’s STRIKE ALLIANCE is fitted with a hood and could leave previous form behind him with a good showing on handicap debut, while BERNADINE is a player from only a 2Ib higher mark than when second last time.

Leg 3 Selections: Dembe, Keyser Soze
DEMBE won four of his eight starts last year and remained in form with a good second at Wolverhampton last-time-out. He was caught further back than ideal but was only beaten a neck after a strong late surge and this course winner is expected to be bang there off only a 1Ib higher mark in this race for leg 3.
KEYSER SOZE is also a course winner and drops into this grade for the first time since defying a mark of 83 nearly six years ago. He has won and made the frame numerous times in some big races in his career, especially in some major handicaps. He could easily outclass these at decent odds under Tom Marquand.

Leg 4 Selections: Central Hall
This is a good opportunity for the Simon Crisford-trained CENTRAL HALL to deservedly open his account. After a decent fourth on his debut, he has finished runner-up in two starts since.
It is slightly alarming that he has returned a beaten favourite in both of those efforts but he should appreciate the drop in distance. Even if he fails to score again, he should be more than capable of making the frame in leg 4.

Leg 5 Selections: Annaf, Tone The Barone
ANNAF had displayed good form prior to turning in a career-best performance at Lingfield when last spotted, defying a mark of 101 in pretty comfortable fashion under a good ride from Rossa Ryan. He is the one to beat in leg 5 with a lot more to offer for trainer Mick Appleby.
Just in case the favourite underperforms, I wouldn’t rule out a bold showing from TONE THE BARONE, who is capable of high-class form on the all-weather and whilst he has been well-below his best of late, this course could suit him in all fairness. Sean Levey takes the ride and it would come as no surprise to see him bounce back.

Leg 6 Selections: Dinoo, Murhib, Eloso
Roger Varian’s DINOO has been in really good form of late and following victory at Wolverhampton in November, he has backed that up with two solid efforts in defeat. He remains on the same mark as when touched off by a nose last time and, if this longer trip can signal improvement, he should be a major player in leg 6 here.
MURHIB has won over track and trip and has gone well fresh in the past as well. He is the veteran of the field at the age of 11 but he is well-treated and Rab Havlin has been booked to ride. ELOSO gets the assistance of Tom Marquand and his trainer is in excellent form of late too, so he is another not to discount.
