Leg 1 Selections: Vespasian, Walking On Clouds
VESPASIAN has made the frame the last twice in higher grade company and went close over this trip on his penultimate start off this mark. If he can reproduce his best form off top-weight, he should go well. In addition, his figures at this level or lower reads an impressive 31212 as well, while WALKING ON CLOUDS is four-from-four over this trip for Grant Tuer and while he has been raised five pounds for his latest success, he is in cracking form. He cannot be taken lightly, so warrants a place on the list as well in leg 1.

Leg 2 Selections: Bobby Dassler
BOBBY DASSLER still remains winless after nine starts but he ran a decent race on his stable debut last time when sixth and should be able to build on that, especially back over a much more favourable shorter distance in this race. He is drawn well in stall three and probably just about shades the best form on the table (based on his Irish form) plus he is rated three-pounds higher than Angel Amadea. He should take some beating in leg 2 with more to offer.

Leg 3 Selections: Blazeon Five, Smart Champion
BLAZEON FIVE has advanced her form to a new level since tackling staying trips, in which her form figures over two-miles or further reads figures 1112. She came within half-a-length of completing the four-timer when last spotted and, off only a pound higher mark here, she looks set to give another good account. SMART CHAMPION is only a pound above his last winning mark and has a lot of form over this distance, so it would come as no surprise were he to get involved at large odds in leg 3.

Leg 4 Selections: Revolutionise, Farhh To Shy
REVOLUTIONISE bounced back to form with a really good second last time, only finding a well-treated rival from the George Boughey team too strong. He has won over track and trip off an eight pounds higher mark in the past and is drawn effectively in stall two, so he could be set to run well again with a lot in his favour. I also like the claims of FARHH TO SHY, who is two pounds below her last winning mark and is another to be drawn well in stall four. She must have a good chance now dropped in class in leg 4.

Leg 5 Selections: Smiling Sunflower
I am banking on SMILING SUNFLOWER in leg 5, who produced a career-best when winning on stable debut at this course eight days ago. Her win can be marked up as well, given she started slowly but still won with a bit up her sleeve. I think this race is much easier given she beat an 81-rated rival last time and tackles opponents rated no higher than 77 here. She has to shoulder a penalty but she takes a significant ease in grade and is strongly fancied to go close.

Leg 6 Selections: Star Of Mayo, Emperor Zen
Leg 6 looks really competitive but STAR OF MAYO compiled a strong late surge to get his breakthrough success last time and makes his handicap debut off a mark that shouldn’t be out of range. Drawn well in stall one, and being Andrew Balding’s only runner of the day, he could take some beating in this race. Of the others, EMPEROR ZEN has won and made the frame three times in his last four starts and was only beaten a neck last-time-out. If stall seven doesn’t prove an issue, he looks a major player.
