Architect Tips shares his Tote Placepot tips for today's action at Wolverhampton.
16:35 Wolverhampton
Leg 1 Selections: My Boy Jack, Savalas, Inaam
MY BOY JACK has made the frame nine times off higher marks and finished third off a four-pounds higher mark on his last visit to this course. A repeat performance here should be enough to see him trouble the judge, while SAVALAS has fallen to a dangerous mark and shaped well last time. He could be competitive, as could INAAM, who is in form and will seek a third win from his last four starts.

Leg 2 Selections: Latest Edition, Bruno The Red
LATEST EDITION went close on her penultimate start when beaten only half-a-length and although she couldn’t justify favouritism last time, that was in a class three and this is a huge drop in grade. She should go well, as could BRUNO THE RED who also drops in grade ahead of his handicap debut and might get involved in leg 2.

Leg 3 Selections: Lexington Hero, Karakoy
LEXINGTON HERO made some nice late progress to finish sixth of 13 on debut having been slow into stride but improved from that promising effort to open his account at this course next time. He is the one to beat. KARAKOY travelled well en route to finishing a solid third on debut in the same race the former competed in at Kempton and is open to improvement.

Leg 4 Selections: Mint Edition, Sudden Ambush
MINT EDITION is in fantastic form and completed his hat-trick with quite a bit to spare here last time. He might not have finished improving yet and the four-timer could be on the cards. SUDDEN AMBUSH is the obvious danger, who won convincingly last time. Andrew Balding’s charge has a lot more to offer and it’s difficult to see one of these two not taking leg 4.

Leg 5 Selections: Gavi De Gavi, Sense Of Worth
GAVI DE GAVI won over course-and-distance off this mark back in November and while he’s not added to that in four subsequent starts, Alan King’s charge has to be thereabouts now back on his last successful mark with an excellent jockey booked to ride. SENSE OF WORTH caught the eye in fourth at Kempton last time and is well-treated on the pick of his Irish form.

Leg 6 Selections: Send In The Clouds
SEND IN THE CLOUDS is the sole representative in leg 6. He was really unlucky not to win at Chelmsford last time, as he would have won with a clear passage. He finished second by only half-a-length and the assessor has only raised his mark a couple of pounds. He is drawn well in stall four and Jonathan Fisher claims five, so there is a lot to like about his chances.
