Steve Ryder is back with two three for today's action.

The market has this billed as a match between Bass Rock and Richmond Lake but I think ONE FINE MAN (best priced at 11/2) is overpriced in receipt of a big chunk of weight from the top two. The Jimmy Moffatt trained eight-year-old has returned this season in good form over fences and there could be more improvement to come. He finished 2nd by a neck on his reappearance from a 412 day break at Sedgefield off a mark of 112 before winning at Carlisle earlier this month ago off a mark of 114.
One Fine Man jumped well that day over 2 miles showing that he has the pace to compete at the minimum distance. The handicapper has only raised him 3lbs for that 1 ½ length success which could prove lenient and he should outrun his odds in receipt of over a stone from Bass Rock.

This looks a weak 0-100 handicap hurdle and preference goes to the Paul Henderson trained SAN PEDRO (best priced at 9/4) despite a 7lb penalty. The six-year-old had been running consistently well since the turn of the year with 3rd placed finishes at Fontwell and Fakenham but he showed huge improvement for the application of first time cheekpieces at Lingfield a week ago.
San Pedro won easily by 12 lengths that day under Nick Schofield off a mark of 90 and he will no doubt get more than a 7lb rise from the handicapper tomorrow. I expect him to be ridden prominently again by Schofield and he should be able to make it 2/2 in cheekpieces.

Maitre De Perles has proved popular with punters on his handicap debut but CINNODIN (best priced at 11/1) has a similar profile and is four times the price. The Richard Hughes trained three-year-old has shown very little in his three starts to date when beaten 30 lengths, 13 lengths and 20 lengths in maiden/novice races over 7f and a mile.
Cinnodin has been gelded since his previous run in November and crucially is now upped in trip on his handicap debut to 1m4f. He starts life in handicaps off a lowly mark of 53 and he should outrun his odds with up to four places on offer.
