Leg 1 Selections: Outlaw Peter

OUTLAW PETER went out like a light in the Lanzarote when well-fancied but got back on track and touched off by a whisker when second at Musselburgh last time and, back down in grade, Paul Nicholls afternoon could be set to start with a winner. Hardy Fella could be the biggest danger but he ran woefully last time like something might have been amiss and is best watched for now.

Leg 2 Selections: Toothless

In the second race, I stick with the Paul Nicholls and Harry Cobden combination as TOOTHLESS is given another chance to get his career back on track. He was impressive on his stable debut at Fakenham but weakened tamely in a hotter race than this last time when a distant fourth. This is easier though, so unless both hurdle debutants turn out to be better above 130 horses, the favourite should go close.

Leg 3 Selections: Dindin, Doyannie

DINDIN has won and been placed multiple times off higher marks over fences and drops in cross after finishing third last time. He is eight-pounds below his last winning mark and with most of these having something to prove, he could be the answer. DOYANNIE impressed two days ago and would have strong claims if turned out quickly here. The remainder need more to figure.

Leg 4 Selections: Cap Du Mathan

CAP DU MATHAN has started to fulfil his potential in this sphere, as he’s jumped really well en route to winning his last two starts. He made a decent horse in Lac De Constance make mistakes and with no horse of that one’s calibre in this race, he is strongly fancied to defy top-weight. I think only his big weight can stop him but hopefully his jumping, which is his biggest asset, will help him complete the hat-trick.

Leg 5 Selections: Hititi

HITITI ended his hurdles campaign with two consecutive wins and ran to his best when a half-a-length second over course-and-distance 11 days ago. He is up three pounds but most of his opponents ran poorly last time, so he could be up to defying this higher mark with conditions in his favour. He is preferred to the likes of Hardy Boy.

Leg 6 Selections: Ivetwiggedut

IVETWIGGEDIT is likely to start a warm favourite for this race but rightfully so after he bolted up by 19 lengths at Newcastle last time. He has been dealt with a huge 17 pound rise in the weights but even that probably isn’t enough to prevent him from winning for a third time in a row. Cameron Lies maintains the partnership as well, who has been on him for those last two wins.
