Leg 1 Selections: Goldkit, Two Fools Collide

GOLDKIT could only finish third eight days ago but is better than she showed that day and is better judged on her short-head second on debut. She is worth another chance, while TWO FOOLS COLLIDE could go well on her debut and is smartly-bred. Jamie Spencer is an eye-catching jockey booking to say the least as well.

Leg 2 Selections: Chola Empire

CHOLA EMPIRE won over track and trip on debut and won at Southwell in January before placing in two subsequent starts. He was third in a much stronger race at Southwell last time and drops in grade off the exact same mark here. If he gets a clear passage, Jamie Spencer might be able to guide him to success. He remains the one to beat.

Leg 3 Selections: Sirius White, Thomas Equinas

A difficult race to solve but SIRIUS WHITE has only ran once over track and trip and scored in pretty good fashion. He hasn’t been able to add to that in two subsequent starts but he will find this easier and could go well. THOMAS EQUINAS comes out best at the weights and has a good jockey booked to ride, so Dean Ivory’s charge should be thereabouts.

Leg 4 Selections: Araifjan, Jupiter Express

ARAIFJAN saves his best for this course in this grade or lower with form figures that read 232122 and has held his form well since winning here back in December. He has also defied much higher marks in the past, so he remains well-handicapped and could go well. JUPITER EXPRESS won over track and trip last time and could follow-up from only a four pound higher mark.

Leg 5 Selections: Pride Of America

PRIDE OF AMERICA is a proper tough front-runner, who has won four of his last six starts and made a successful return at Kempton when last spotted. This is probably a tougher assignment from a career-high mark but Amy Murphy’s charge has more to come and should make a bold bid if allowed to dictate matters.

Leg 6 Selections: The Bay Warrior, Persian Wolf

THE BAY WARRIOR remains three pounds above his last winning mark but his record here reads 1212424 and although he was below form last time, he could bounce back. Meanwhile, PERSIAN WOLF gets weights from all rivals and has winning form over course-and-distance, so he is feared most under Josephine Gordon.
