Architect Tips shares his Tote Placepot tips for today's action at Exeter.
13:50 Exeter
Leg 1 Selections: Impose Toi, Knowwhentoholdem
IMPOSE TOI went very close on his stable debut for Nicky Henderson at Ludlow when beaten under a length and is likely to take all of the beating with that run under his belt.
His main danger will probably be KNOWWHENTOHOLDEM, who went close to making two wins from two starts in bumpers last time and has potential to be a smart hurdler.

Leg 2 Selections: Dark Duomo, Caspers Court
Philip Hobbs has predominantly done well with handicap debutants and a big run could be on the cards from DARK DUOMO, who could play a leading role. He never figured here last-time-out but his stable are amongst the winners and he is Ben Jones only runner on the card. He is of some interest.
CASPERS COURT has been in great form over hurdles this season and twice made the frame here last year off marks of 99 and 100. The nine-year-old has to be considered with most of these having plenty to prove at the moment. If the former fails to fire, he should be the one to make the frame despite his big weight.

Leg 3 Selections: Hititi, Gladiateur Allen
HTITI ended his hurdles campaign with two consecutive wins and ran to his best when a half-a-length second over course-and-distance 11 days ago. He is up three pounds but he could be up to defying this higher mark with conditions in his favour.
GLADIATEUR ALLEN wasn’t at his best here last time but is dangerously well-treated, as he has done all of his previous winning and placed efforts off higher marks. He beat a couple of 145+ rated horses on his chase debut, so he’s more than capable at this level over hurdles.

Leg 4 Selections: Issam, Jilaijone
ISSAM showed some good form for his former boss abroad and left his two previous starts for these connections when finishing a clear second at Ffos Las last month. He surely has more to come and could be a major player back down in distance.
JILAIJONE won his stable/hurdles debut and has shaped well in all three starts since, including in a better race last time. In receipt of weight from all his rivals, David Pipe’s charge has to be feared with improvement on the cards.

Leg 5 Selections: Armchair Farmer
Blue Shark has to be given the utmost respect in his search for a six-timer but the Fergal O’Brien-trained ARMCHAIR FARMER is better than he showed at Doncaster last-time-out and is worth another chance on just his second handicap start.
This seven-year-old is on the same mark for this race and will be more suited to this course than last time. If he can get into a nice rhythm out in front, he might be able to end the winning sequence of the favourite.
16:40 Exeter
Leg 6 Selections: Army Of One, Talimar Pearl
A competitive, wide-open contest for leg six, but ARMY OF ONE could go well at double-figure odds. The six-year-old mare has been in good form on the Flat this year and wasn’t disgraced on her last start over hurdles at Warwick.
Elizabeth Gale, who takes off seven-pounds, has been booked to ride and she could hit the frame. TALIMAR PEARL makes his handicap debut after three starts and ran well here on his penultimate start. He is worth inclusion.
