TELHIMLISTEN got off the mark at the sixth time of asking in emphatic style from the front at Southwell when last spotted. He has a seven pound penalty to carry on this occasion but he has more to offer and a reproduction of that latest performance could see him follow-up in this weak race.

DANCILA achieved a fair level of form on the Flat, achieving a rating as high as 90, and comfortably beat a good horse in the shape of General Officer on his hurdles debut. That is by far the strongest form on display, so he is strongly fancied to remain unbeaten in this sphere with the expectation of going up in grade next time.

LA DOMANIALE was winning for the third time over fences at Stratford last time and while she hasn’t been seen for six months, this is an excellent opportunity for her to go close. HAUTE ESTIME was below form at Carlisle last time but is the biggest danger to the former on these terms and should bounce back.

Leg 4 Selections: Some Scope, Enjoy Your Life 

SOME SCOPE has shaped with promise in each of his three starts over hurdles and moves into handicap company off a nice mark. He cannot be taken lightly, while ENJOY YOUR LIFE showcased some pretty good form when formerly trained in France and this mark doesn’t look beyond him in his UK debut.

Leg 5 Selections: Jaytree, Gats And Co 

JAYTREE has only had the five chase starts and could improve for this greater emphasis on stamina off bottom-weight. The eight-year-old has good claims of at least making the frame if his stamina holds out. GATS AND CO won four on the spin last year and could be suited to this marathon distance. If he jumps as well as he can, this eight-year-old might take some catching on the front end.

Leg 6 Selections: Jatiluwih, Sporting Ace

Philip Hobbs’ JATILUWIH ran well to finish a close-up fourth at Newbury last month and is capable of winning off this mark being three pounds below his last successful mark. A good claimer is booked to ride who offsets 10 pounds as well. SPORTING ACE has yet to finish out of the frame in all hurdle starts and has to be concluded given his consistent profile.
