The Champion Hurdle looks set to be dominated by Constitution Hill this year but I feel I Like To Move It (best priced at 15/2) is overpriced in the without market. The Nigel Twiston-Davies trained six-year-old is 3/3 over this course and distance with his only defeat coming at Cheltenham over hurdles coming in the County Hurdle last season on the new course. He was an impressive winner of the Greatwood Hurdle on his reappearance in November before disappointing over 2m4f on his next start. He bounced back to form last time to win the Kingwell Hurdle at Wincanton in impressive style by 17 lengths earning him an official rating of 157.

At some point in this race Paul Townend is going to have to try to beat Constitution Hill on State Man and that could result in him weakening late on in this race. His stablemate Vauban has disappointed me so far this season and I feel Sam Twiston-Davies can pick up the pieces late on with I Like To Move It and he has a good chance on following the favourite home.

I Like To Move It (w/o Constitution Hill) - 0.5pts e/w @ 15/2

This is a typically competitive renewal of the Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle this year but I am willing to take a chance on Sir Allen (best priced at 11/1) who looks well handicapped off an opening mark of 131. The Andrew Slattery trained gelding was only a 70 rated flat horse but he has significantly improved since going hurdling this season. He finished only five lengths behind Triumph Hurdle favourite Blood Destiny at Cork on his hurdling debut before winning at Punchestown on his next start.

Sir Allen won a Naas Rated Novice Hurdle last time and interestingly that is the same race that Band Of Outlaws (2019), Aramax (2020) and Brazil (2022) all won before winning this race. Danny Mullins is a fantastic jockey booking for this race I expect him to run well with up to six places available.

Sir Allen - 0.5pts e/w @ 11/1

This looks like a weak 0-65 handicap and I am willing to take a chance on the topweight Artisan Dancer (best priced at 11/4) on his handicap debut. The Charlie Johnston trained three-year-old had form figures of 567 as a two-year-old last season over a mile but he looks the type to improve now handicapping.

Artisan Dancer has been gelded over the winter and now steps up in trip significantly to 1m3f in this race. He has an opening handicap mark of 66 which makes him the best horse in this weak race and he looks open the most amount of improvement in this race.

Artisan Dancer - 1pt @ 11/4
