Architect Tips Selection: GALA MARCEAU
Lossiemouth and Blood Destiny have obvious claims but stablemate GALA MARCEAU did plenty wrong at the Dublin Racing Festival yet still managed to get the job done and has more to come. She still needs to learn to settle but a hood will be fitted plus she won twice in France on heavy ground, so the soft ground will be of no concern in the opener. She has a solid each-way chance, so take the four places on Unibet.

Architect Tips Selection: SHARJAH
SHARJAH is the class act in the field and this two-time Champion Hurdle runner-up will be well served to a strong pace. Ideally, he would prefer better ground, but top-weights have a good record in this contest and it’s interesting he lines up here rather than having a go at the Champion Hurdle. The form of his Red Mills second has taken a few knocks but he is better than that and has each-way claims.

Betfair Bet £10 Get £30 in Free Bets
Architect Tips Selection: FAVORI DE CHAMPDOU
A strong line-up for the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle and Gordon Elliott’s progressive FAVORI DE CHAMPDOU could be up to the task ahead having his first go at the highest level. He has looked a thorough stayer in each of his three wins since tackling three miles and conditions will suit.
This is a deep renewal but he has done little wrong so far in this sphere and makes plenty of appeal for each-way backers. A strong use of a qualifying bet on Betfair to trigger some free bets on the Gold Cup.

William Hill Top Price Guarantee on all Championship Races
Architect Tips Selection: STATTLER
STATTLER looks tailor-made for this distance in the feature race of the week, the Gold Cup. He won the National Hunt Chase last season at the Festival and is partnered by Patrick Mullins. He is a very assured jumper and while he was behind Galopin Des Champs in the Irish Gold Cup last time, I expect him to bridge the gap over this longer and favourable trip. If he is within striking distance as they turn into the home straight, he surely runs a big race.
William Hill are paying top price on Championship races so make sure to get the best price ahead of Thursday's feature race.

Architect Tips Selection: Chris's Dream
CHRIS’S DREAM is the highest rated runner in the field at 155 and is surprisingly trading at double-figure odds here. He has a lot of classy form to his name and was even deemed good enough to contest the Gold Cup and Ryanair Chase at previous Festivals. He was out of his depth in both but has won all of his points and is one of the classier horses to line up in this race in recent years plus soft ground suits. The 11-year-old is definitely one for the shortlist, particularly if you're getting five places.

Paddy Power: Bet £20 and get it back as cash if it loses
Architect Tips Selection: IMPERVIOUS
IMPERVIOUS is unbeaten in three starts over fences and the form of her latest two wins have been boosted by the two who were in behind, as Journey With Me has won a Grade 2 since, whilst Dinoblue ran well in the Grand Annual earlier this week. Colm Murphy’s mare was only sixth in the Mares’ Novice Hurdle at this meeting 12 months ago but has established herself to be an even better chaser and has leading claims in her biggest test to date. It's worth a go on Paddy Power with cash back if it loses.

Architect Tips Selection: IROKO
IROKO has deliberately been targeted at this race by connections and has won both his starts this season in great style, including on handicap debut last time. He ran well to finish fourth in Grade 2 and Grade 1 events last season and he has been hit with a 10 pounds rise for winning last time. However, I don’t think this mark will be the ceiling of his ability and he is fancied to feature heavily in the finale.
