Architect Tips shares his Tote Placepot tips for today's action at Musselburgh.

Leg 1 Selections: Jm Jungle
JM JUNGLE ran well on his reappearance when a close-up third at Thirsk on ground that would have been plenty soft enough for him, so the anticipated nicer ground in this race will suit better.
He is down in grade off the same mark as last time, plus quite a bit of his form is working out well. John Quinn’s charge has plenty of speed and has to be a major player from a nice slot stall 4 with Harry Russell booked to ride.

Leg 2 Selections: Moonstone Boy
MOONSTONE BOY was impeded at the start and was forced to cover more ground than most on debut here over course-and-distance but stayed on strongly to take third and that was an eye-catching performance to say the least. With that experience under his belt, he is fancied to prevail.

Leg 3 Selections: Ana Gold
ANA GOLD might not have got her head in front last season but she was ultra-consistent in defeat, in which she made the frame in her last five starts. She went very close in three of those and every horse she has bumped into in her last four starts have all been rated much higher than her, so she is very well-treated off 76 given how close she was to each of them.
She was second to Dutch Decoy (rated 88) at Hamilton, second to Point Lynas (rated 89) at Redcar, then third behind Queen of Aminatu (107) and Tarrabb (91). Here, she takes on rivals rated no higher than 82. Her latest third at Windsor when she came through with a strong challenge and would have won in another stride is a standout piece of form.
The front two have both won since off marks of 89 and 83 so again, a mark of 76 has underestimated Karl Burke’s filly. Clifford Lee has never ridden her before but he is a capable rider, so I have no concerns on that front. She should get a strong pace to aim at with plenty of confirmed front-runners, so while she has to concede fitness to a lot of these, her profile overshadows that issue. Big chance.

Leg 4 Selections: Ravenscraig Castle, Notimeforanother
RAVENSCRAIG CASTLE ended last season on a downward spiral but he is down to a favourable mark and hopefully the break has done him good, so his batteries are recharged. He was second off a three pounds higher mark here in the Musselburgh in 2021, so if he can recapture that sort of form, he would certainly have a decent chance if ready to go after his break.
NOTIMEFORANOTHER has won two of his four starts on the all-weather and made a successful handicap debut at Southwell last month. The handicapper has applied pressure by putting him up six pounds but he won with plenty to spare, is drawn well in stall 4 here and he has more to come, so the top-weight could be hard to topple.

Leg 5 Selections: Spioradalta, Prairie Falcon
The Mark Walford-trained SPIORADALTA has yet to finish out of the frame when competing in races over seven furlongs or further, which reads 12232 and the form of his second at York stands out, as the fifth, Surely Not, has bolted up since.
He also had a subsequent winner in behind at Newmarket as well. He has surprisingly been left on an unchanged mark, which gives him a great chance. PRAIRIE FALCON shaped nicely on his return at Pontefract when fourth and should be able to improve on that here with fitness now guaranteed along with the return to better ground.
He concluded last season with a fair 9th place finish in the 27-runner valuable two-year-old race at Newmarket and is worth a crack at a mile as he stays seven furlongs well. He also beat subsequent winner Surely Not in a class two at Goodwood last year, so his form is working as well.

Leg 6 Selections: On A Session, Mister Bluebird
ON A SESSION has been campaigned on the all-weather so far this year and while he’s not landed a blow in each of his four starts, they should have put him straight for his return to the turf.
He won over course-and-distance last July from a five pounds higher mark in a higher grade race and is ideally drawn in stall 5 back here. He surely goes close if he gets the run of the race.
MISTER BLUEBIRD also won his only appearance at this course, which came over track and trip and is only a pound higher back at the venue.
The five-year-old has won and finished second on his last two reappearances, so he goes well fresh and Billy Loughnane is a notable booking, who claims five.
