Architect Tips shares his Tote Placepot tips for today's action at Lingfield.
17:00 Lingfield
Leg 1 Selections: Phenomenon
The opener can potentially go the way of PHENOMENON, who has shown a chunk of ability in all three starts to date and wasn’t beaten far into fourth in a much stronger race than this last time.
He makes his handicap debut off a really lenient mark and could be tough to beat with Billy Loughnane taking off a valuable three pounds.

Leg 2 Selections: Hul Ah Bah Loo
HUL AH BAH LOO has to be the solid option, who hardly runs a bad race and has remained in good form since winning over course-and-distance in February.
He has been strong at the finish in all of his last three starts and if he gets a strong gallop here, he should be finishing to best effect, which could be enough to see him resume winning ways. Fair chance.

Leg 3 Selections: Lilkian, Porfin
LILKIAN is a four-time course winner, who was denied a clear passage here eight days ago but stayed on well once in the clear. He remains well-above his last winning mark but has the form to play a leading role. He should go very well.
PORFIN is another course winner, who is two pounds lower than when winning over track and trip back in December and has run well in two of his last three starts. He shouldn’t be fazed by the return to the longer distance and should be really competitive in this contest.

Leg 4 Selections: Dayman, Recon Mission
DAYMAN won twice on the all-weather last year and has joined an in-form yard ahead of this reappearance. A first-time visor is attached and is a pound lower than when scoring last June at Kempton. He remains feasibly well-treated and could pose a major threat at a decent price.
RECON MISSION went close in a higher grade at Epsom on last week's reappearance, showing his customary early speed and his mark remains unchanged here. He is only a pound above his last winning mark and has course-winning form, so he makes the shortlist.

Leg 5 Selections: Grandfather Tom, Battle Point
GRANDFATHER TOM has won twice over course-and-distance in his career and is essentially down to a mark in the 50s for the first time in his career.
He must surely be thereabouts, while BATTLE POINT won over track and trip when last seen and should remain competitive from only a two pounds higher mark.

Leg 6 Selections: Grand Providence
GRAND PROVIDENCE was behind the reopposing Flower Of Dubai on debut last time but is 7Ib better off here and she did well to get as close as she did last time.
She should improve a lot from that experience and is fancied to make a serious impact over this longer trip, which should bring about improvement.
