Architect Tips shares his Tote Placepot tips for today's action at Carlisle.

Leg 1 Selections: Mauna Loa
MAUNA LOA was doing all of her best work at the finish when fourth of 12 at Thirsk and the third has run well again since to partially advertise the form. Richard Fahey’s filly will know more about her job in this contest and can put that experience to good use by going close to taking the opener.

Leg 2 Selections: Dawn Charger, Charged Up
DAWN CHARGER ran well to finish second to stablemate World Of Darcy on debut and the winner has since finished second in a high-class Listed event. Karl Burke’s filly then went one better at Ascot and is impossible to oppose in this contest with the potential rank higher, while CHARGED UP has placed in both starts and should be thereabouts.

Leg 3 Selections: Keeponbelieving, Hidden Code
KEEPONBELIEVING has shown promise in each of her four starts and wasn’t beaten far when third on handicap debut last time. She should be on the premises. HIDDEN CODE is quite exposed but returned a good second two starts ago at Newcastle and is drawn well in stall 2. I’ll be surprised if one of these two don’t make the frame.

Leg 4 Selections: Flying Frontier
The form of FLYING FRONTIER’s debut second has worked out very well, given the winner - Yannaas, was an unlucky fourth at Sandown when last seen, while the third Roaring Legend has gone close since. James Tate’s charge should be able to build on that promise and is handed quite a strong vote to uphold that form and go one better.

Leg 5 Selections: Notimeforanother, Detective
NOTIMEFORANOTHER has won two of his last five starts and after winning on handicap debut at Southwell on the all-weather, he backed that up with an excellent third on the turf off top-weight. This race is slightly easier, and he has been left on the same mark here, so he’s sure to be competitive. DETECTIVE probably would have won last time but for a slow start and is a pound below his last winning mark, so he makes appeal as well.

Leg 6 Selections: B Associates, Holloway Girl
The Jim Goldie-trained B ASSOCIATES has upped his game this year and was rewarded for consistency when scoring a shade comfortably at Musselburgh 17 days ago. A reproduction of that performance could see him supplement that latest success here. HOLLOWAY GIRL, a daughter of Night Of Thunder, ran a solid race on her handicap debut when second and could be tough to beat with improvement on the cards.
