Architect Tips shares his Tote Placepot tips for today's action at Ayr.
17:20 Ayr
Leg 1 Selections: Rosenzoo, Indivar
Charlie Johnston runs two in the race, so it’s worth including debutant ROSENZOO who is the choice of Joe Fanning and could be capable of taking the opener for his connections.
INDIVAR is also an interesting newcomer, who wasn’t a cheap purchase and David O’Meara has had a few winners recently, so he could go well, especially if the market speaks in his favour.

Leg 2 Selections: Victoria Falls, Super Stars
SUPER STARS should be winning a race like this, especially if building on his latest fourth over track and trip when dropped into this grade for the first time. He was conceding lots of weight to the front three and would have won in another half a furlong, as he stayed on strongest of all in the closing stages. If they go a good pace, he is likely to overhaul these late on.
Since winning at Wolverhampton last March, VICTORIA FALLS has been really consistent, placing in three of her last four starts and ran well when third last time despite being set with far too much to do. She will be better over this longer distance and remains feasibly well-treated, so she’s of interest.
18:25 Ayr
Leg 3 Selections: Iolani, Billy Bathgate
IOLANI ran a decent race when last seen on the Flat, finishing fifth of 12 at Carlisle and placed three times last year in this sphere off higher marks. He could capitalise on his reduced mark in this race, as it’s a fairly weak contest.
BILLY BATHGATE is still a maiden but has run well on plenty of occasions to indicate he can win a race like this at some point. He has placed three times off higher marks than this, so he should be thereabouts with at least frame possibilities.

Leg 4 Selections: Garden Oasis, Hortzadar
We are limited to just two places in the fourth race with only seven runners but GARDEN OASIS can be hard to pass when in the mood and was on a going day when second at Pontefract just under three weeks ago.
He is a past course-and-distance winner off a higher mark and is drawn well to attack early, so he could resume winning ways. HORTZADAR was only beaten a head over track and trip last-time-out and has to be a player if able to build on that.
19:35 Ayr
Leg 5 Selections: Whatacracker, Churchella
WHATACRACKER is eased into a class 6 for the first time in his career after contesting stronger events than this to date. He made some late progress in a better race last time and the step up in distance is worth an experiment. He is a leading contender, while CHURCHELLA ran well on handicap debut over this trip at Leicester and could go one better with plenty more to offer.
20:10 Ayr
Leg 6 Selections: Mereside Angel, High Security
MERESIDE ANGEL has been holding his form well of late, placing in his last three starts, and wouldn’t need to improve much more to be competitive in this contest. HIGH SECURITY returned a good third at Nottingham recently and would only need to repeat that to go well, as he is three pounds below his last winning mark.
