Architect Tips shares his Tote Placepot tips for today's action at Doncaster.
14:05 Doncaster
Leg 1 Selections: Ey Up It’s The Boss, Carlton And Co
EY UP IT’S THE BOSS was a very good second 13 days ago and is only a pound higher for this contest. He must be competitive with a similar showing, while CARLTON AND CO has displayed enough ability to think she can win a race like this. If she’s ready to go after a break, she must go well.

Leg 2 Selections: Majestic One, City House
Charlie Appleby’s record with two-year-old debutants is superb and he could have yet another winner with the expensive MAJESTIC ONE, who is likely to start at a short price. CITY HOUSE is a son of guineas winner Night Of Thunder and could pose a threat at a bigger price for the James Fanshawe team.

Leg 3 Selections: Vaguely Royal
VAGUELY ROYAL has hit the frame in all three starts to date and should have won when last seen at Chepstow, when clear before idling badly late on. He should benefit from the step up in distance here and has a lovely pedigree, so he’s worth one more chance to finally come good.
15:50 Doncaster
Leg 4 Selections: One Night Stand, Alligator Alley
ONE NIGHT STAND displayed lots of early speed as expected in the Epsom Dash and he ran a good race to finish fifth. This is a drop in class and he’s a pound lower in the handicap as well, so he’s a massive player. ALLIGATOR ALLEY is six pounds below his last winning mark and is capable of being seriously competitive.
16:25 Doncaster
Leg 5 Selections: Laser Guided, Tuleyka
LASER GUIDED improved his form on his handicap/turf debut when dead-heating for first at Ripon last-time-out and should have plenty more to come, so he’s one for the shortlist. I’ll also add in TULEYKA, won over course-and-distance in April and should be discounted with his stable in decent form as well.

Leg 6 Selections: Beautron, Annie Law
BEAUTRON improved for the fitting of a tongue-tie when scoring on handicap debut at Carlisle and while she is six pounds higher for this contest, she should go well. ANNIE LAW has run well in finishing back-to-back thirds and is another to consider in what is a difficult race.
