Architect Tips shares Tote Placepot tips for Monday's action at Windsor and yesterday's Placepot Results from Stratford.
17:40 Windsor
Leg 1 Selections: Watch My Tracer, Jubilee Walk
In the opener, George Scott’s WATCH MY TRACER set’s the standard based upon his seventh of 20 in the Group 2 Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot. He had earlier impressed in winning on debut at Yarmouth and should be difficult to topple. James Ferguson’s JUBILEE WALK should improve from his debut fifth at Salisbury and can fill the frame.
18:10 Windsor
Leg 2 Selections: Kodiac Thriller, Piz Nair
KODIAC THRILLER is related to useful sprinter Abolish and could turn out to be useful starting out for Charlie Hills. The fact that connections have booked William Buick means they mean business and maybe this newcomer will be ready to go close on his debut. PIZ NAIR finished fourth on debut over course-and-distance and is a player.

Leg 3 Selections: Indispensable, Yorkshire Terrier
INDISPENSABLE was a distant fourth in a Listed event last-time-out but that form is useful and her previous win plus two placed efforts read well in this contest. She will relish the ease in grade and is fancied to go very well. It’s likely YORKSHIRE TERRIER will get a soft lead though, who’s won two of her four starts from the front and this is easier than the Woodcote she contested at Epsom.

Leg 4 Selections: Justcallmepete, Mojomaker
JUSTCALLMEPETE has the burden of top-weight but that’s because he is remarkably consistent and has been running very well in defeat since completing the four-timer earlier this year. He flew home to take third over course-and-distance last time and must be respected from the same mark as he’s dropped into grade. MOJOMAKER is also consistent and has been given a chance by the assessor.
19:40 Windsor
Leg 5 Selections: Dream Of Mischief, Ardbraccan
DREAM OF MISCHIEF could only finish ninth at Newbury when last seen but was only beaten half-a-length at Goodwood on his penultimate start and that form has worked out well with the third winning since plus a few others have acquitted themselves in defeat too. He has place claims at least in this event.
ARDBRACCAN had a subsequent winner in behind when third at Nottingham and while this filly has yet to deliver in a handicap of any sort, she’s well-treated on the pick of her form and has a good chance of hitting the frame.
20:10 Windsor
Leg 6 Selections: Balgair
The nine-year-old BALGAIR went close at Lingfield last-time-out and is five pounds lower than when last successful. He came close to winning last July when carrying a monster weight from that five pounds higher mark and this race is easier. Tom Marquand has been booked to ride and, with everything seemingly to suit, Tom Clover’s charge should be hard to keep out of the frame.
How does a Placepot work?
The more people who play the Placepot at a given meeting, the larger the pool will be. If less people find the winning combination across the six races, the bigger the winning dividend will be.
When placing your Tote Placepot bet, you can choose whether to make one or more selections in each race, which are referred to as lines.
Adding multiple lines in a race increases your chances of picking a horse that places. However, your total stake is determined ‘per line’, so the more lines you place the higher the stake will be.
To work out how much you have won, multiply your stake per line by the amount of winning lines you have. Your winnings will then be either that percentage of the published £1-stake winnings or a multiple of the published dividend.
