Architect Tips shares Tote Placepot tips for Wednesday's action at Chepstow and yesterday's Placepot from Kempton.
17:30 Chepstow
Leg 1 Selections: Sun King, Titian
SUN KING has yet to strike in the UK but has some pretty strong form in the book, running with credit in each outing, mostly in stronger company, and was third in the Golden Gates at Royal Ascot last year off a mark of 89.
He is five pounds lower now and caught my eye under a big weight last time on a racing league night when a powerful-finishing close-up fourth on his first start at this level. He is a major player with Ben Curtis retained to ride.
TITIAN was marginally denied in the Spring Mile at Doncaster back in April and has posted some other excellent placed efforts in stronger events. He should give another solid account of himself as he is eased in grade.

Leg 2 Selections: Eminny, Passionately
EMINNY looked in need of the experience when third on debut but confirmed that promise to win her next couple of starts. She was out of her depth in a Listed event when last spotted but ran well enough to take sixth and should take some stopping in this easier race.
I also like PASSIONATELY who should have gone close last-time-out and wasn’t disgraced in the Albany on her penultimate start. She should go well for the Amy Murphy team.
18:30 Chepstow
Leg 3 Selections: Executive Decision, Buccabay
EXECUTIVE DECISION has been highly-tried so far in her career, which also includes a creditable fifth of 26 in the Palace Of Holyrood House Stakes at Royal Ascot.
She then filled that same spot when fifth of 16 in the bet365 handicap at Newmarket and that form has worked out well with the second, Mill Stream, winning a Listed event since.
She appreciated the ease in grade to score at Goodwood last-time-out and is of serious interest under a penalty with more to come.
BUCCABAY will find this easier than when midfield at York and is well-handicapped off 81 on the pick of his form. He can also be included.
19:00 Chepstow
Leg 4 Selections: Shahbaz, Miss Dolly Rocker
SHAHBAZ was unlucky not to win at the racing league when last seen, where he didn’t get a clear run when travelling well before surging home to only be beaten a neck. From the same mark, he must merit consideration.
MISS DOLLY ROCKER gained reward for her consistency, striking from the front at Nottingham after placing in all of her five previous starts. She should make a bold bid on her handicap debut.
19:30 Chepstow
Leg 5 Selections: Star Harbour, Dancing In Paris
STAR HARBOUR hasn’t won for a while but did run well in a couple of big-field, competitive handicaps last year off higher marks.
He wasn’t disgraced when last seen on his return from a couple of months break and the handicapper has given him a good chance on his first start in the UK.
DANCING IN PARIS can be hard to beat when he can get the lead and has been in the frame in his last couple of starts. He is expected to go well for the Brits.
20:00 Chepstow
Leg 6 Selections: Manila Scouse, Kimnigrace
MANILA SCOUSE had posted some very solid efforts in defeat prior to gaining a much-deserved success four days ago at Haydock on heavy ground.
He escapes a penalty for that success, so he should take some beating, though, KIMNIGRACE won a Listed event back in February on the all-weather and is down grade after running well when fifth in a hot handicap at Ascot when last spotted.
How does a Placepot work?
The more people who play the Placepot at a given meeting, the larger the pool will be. If less people find the winning combination across the six races, the bigger the winning dividend will be.
When placing your Tote Placepot bet, you can choose whether to make one or more selections in each race, which are referred to as lines.
Adding multiple lines in a race increases your chances of picking a horse that places. However, your total stake is determined ‘per line’, so the more lines you place the higher the stake will be.
To work out how much you have won, multiply your stake per line by the amount of winning lines you have. Your winnings will then be either that percentage of the published £1-stake winnings or a multiple of the published dividend.
