Architect Tips shares Tote Placepot tips for Thursday's action at Windsor and yesterday's Placepot from Kempton.

Leg 1 Selections: Pink Satin, Chinese Knot
PINK SATIN is light on experience but has more to come than most of these and after winning on debut over course-and-distance, she ran well behind the highly-promising Shuwari at Newbury who beat a subsequent winner on her next start in a Listed event.
This daughter of Churchill makes a ton of appeal, while CHINESE KNOT has won her last two starts at the racing league and was impressive just seven days ago at Chepstow. If this doesn’t come too soon, the hat-trick could be on the cards as she is in the form of her life.

Leg 2 Selections: Call Me Ginger, Antiphon
CALL ME GINGER ran a very good race when fourth of 14 at Ascot just under three weeks ago when nearest the finish and will take a huge drop in grade from a pound lower mark. He is only a pound higher than when winning that race a year earlier and could be competitive with Hayley Turner in the saddle.
ANTIPHON ran very well when third over track and trip last time in a much stronger race and is another that is dropped in grade. His last win did come here off this mark, so he is on the shortlist.

Leg 3 Selections: Looking For Lynda, Thunder Moor
LOOKING FOR LYNDA has a lot of speed and is drawn well in stall 11 to attack early. He ran really well when third at Musselburgh last-time-out and is two pounds lower for this lower-grade event. He should be thereabouts at the very least against these.
THUNDER MOOR went very close at the racing league last month at Yarmouth and is also down in grade from a lower mark. The fact he has competed at Royal Ascot for the last two years suggests his connections think a lot of him, so it would foolish to rule him out.

Leg 4 Selections: Man Of Eden, Achillea
MAN OF EDEN has a big weight to carry but that is due to a really big effort when third of 17 at Goodwood last-time-out, as he would have won without being badly hampered when making significant ground. He was marginally beaten in a three-way finish and the assessor has only upped his mark a pound.
ACHILLEA opened her account at the racing league meeting three weeks ago and has only been nudged up a pound, so she merits consideration in a race she might be able to follow-up in.

Leg 5 Selections: Sirjack Thomas, Metal Merchant
SIRJACK THOMAS has been running with credit in his last three starts and was a fair fifth of 16 at the Curragh when last seen. He is a full 12 pounds below his win in the summer two years ago and might be able to make an impact now his attention is turned to the UK.
METAL MERCHANT has been running better than recent form figures suggest, and would have finished a good second if he was denied a clear passage twice in the home-straight. If things fall right, he has the ammunition to really get involved from this mark on the back of that encouraging effort.

Leg 6 Selections: Furzig, Tuxedo Junction, The Whipmaster
FURZIG landed back-to-back handicaps in the autumn and ran with credit at the racing league meeting a couple of weeks back. Others are open to more improvement but he remains very well-handicapped on historical form and could hit the frame.
TUXEDO JUNCTION is the other one I like who has placed in three of his five starts this season and is on the same mark as when second here in June. THE WHIPMASTER has a good record here and this dual course-and-distance winner has in-the-frame claims at the very least.
How does a Placepot work?
The more people who play the Placepot at a given meeting, the larger the pool will be. If less people find the winning combination across the six races, the bigger the winning dividend will be.
When placing your Tote Placepot bet, you can choose whether to make one or more selections in each race, which are referred to as lines.
Adding multiple lines in a race increases your chances of picking a horse that places. However, your total stake is determined ‘per line’, so the more lines you place the higher the stake will be.
To work out how much you have won, multiply your stake per line by the amount of winning lines you have. Your winnings will then be either that percentage of the published £1-stake winnings or a multiple of the published dividend.
