A three-time winner on the Flat when trained in Germany, Wonderful Eagle must be of interest on his stable/hurdling bow, while Littel Flour hit the frame at Perth three weeks ago and a reproduction of that effort would bring her firmly into the reckoning.

However, he has to give 6lb to DAN'S CHOSEN, who strolled home over C&D last month off 5lb lower in the handicap and if he can repeat that form here, then he appears be the one to beat. Fellow course double seeker Investment Manager is another to take seriously and he might try to make all dropping back in trip, though some of these could prove too speedy for him.

Clearance also likes it here, with three of his four wins coming at the track including last time out, and he looks a player, but a chance is taken on LADY ADARE. A winner on her first three starts over hurdles, she has had her issues since but further wind surgery recently will hopefully see her back to her best.

The in-form Rubys Reward and the first-time visored Danzini are interesting alternatives in a highly-competitive renewal.
