Leg 1 Selections: Flight Plan, Nostrum, Spirit Dancer

FLIGHT PLAN made a brave bid from the front at Pontefract when last seen, going down by only three parts of a length to Poker Face and that form has been positively advertised. The fourth, Witch Hunter, was last seen winning the Group 2 Hungerford Stakes, so the form is solid and he has much more to come on just his fourth start over this distance. NOSTRUM comes out best at the weights and while he was turned over last time, he surely has more to offer and could be hard to beat. SPIRIT DANCER has a great record at this course and has not been out of the frame since July last year. He must be included given he is improving with every start and probably has more to come.

Leg 2 Selections: True Legend, Middle Earth, Denmark

TRUE LEGEND has won three of his six starts this year and only found one too good at Goodwood when last spotted. His mark has been hit with a huge rise on the back of that display but he surely has more to offer and Hollie Doyle has interestingly been booked to ride. He should make the frame at least, while MIDDLE EARTH is improving as well and should have more to come on his handicap debut after opening his account at Newmarket last time. DENMARK could only finish fifth on his return but that was in a Group 3 on deep ground and this is a drop in grade ahead of his handicap debut and he will be suited to the longer distance.

Leg 3 Selections: Isaac Shelby, Mutasaabeq

ISAAC SHELBY is two-from-two going this way around and pushed Kinross close last time despite failing to settle. He has buckets of talent and will be well-suited to this course. MUTASAABEQ has a record of 11012 over this trip and is dropped in class after contesting Group 1 events the last two times. He is a dual winner at this level and should go well.

Leg 4 Selections: Scriptwriter, Sweet William

SCRIPTWRITER ran a cracker when pushing the classy Hamish close when last seen at this course over this exact distance in a Group 3 and that is smart form. A repeat of that latest run will surely see him very competitive. SWEET WILLIAM has been on a roll this season, winning his last three starts and could be thrown in here off this mark with the potential to surpass this mark as well. Excellent chance.

Leg 5 Selections: Lethal Levi, The Green Man

LETHAL LEVI ran a big race here two starts back when carrying top-weight in the Sky Bet Dash Handicap, finishing a creditable fifth of 15 having been sent off joint-favourite. He is also back on the same mark of 96 as when a neck second over course-and-distance back in May, so he makes plenty of appeal in a race he can win. THE GREEN MAN was in front of him two starts back and is improving through the ranks, so he is another to consider.

Leg 6 Selections: Sketch, Purosangue

SKETCH returned an impressive winner on debut and although he was disappointing at Goodwood when last seen, he is better than that and could easily get back on track. PUROSANGUE also won well on debut and has run well in Group 3 and Group 2 events the last twice. He should be hard to keep out of the frame back down in grade.
