Leg 1 Selections: Another Beautiful, Ayyab
ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL has placed in both her starts to date on the all-weather and the form of each placed effort has worked out well with the winner of each race going in again since.
She ought to go close. AYYAB has improved with each start though and her form is working out well too, including her Newmarket third, so she’s of definite interest with Oisin Murphy in the plate.

Leg 2 Selections: Perseus Way, Mayfair Gold, God Of Fire
PERSEUS WAY succeeded the last time he ran on the Flat and took very well to hurdles last season, placing in four Grade 2 events. Now in the care of Owen Burrows, he could be up to defying the burden of top-weight under Jim Crowley.
A couple of outsiders to consider include MAYFAIR GOLD, whose record over this trip reads 2122 and remains nicely-handicapped plus GOD OF FIRE who ran well when third here two starts ago and is on the same mark

Leg 3 Selections: Ureshii, Mesaafi
Not much form to go on here so a bit of guesswork is involved but not to degrade the race by any means given it’s stacked with potential. I’ll take a chance on Andrew Balding’s debutant URESHII who is a son of Too Darn Hot and is nicely drawn in stall 4.
The market should prove a good guide towards his chances, while MESAAFI could have been drawn a touch better but is another who is well-bred and might emerge as a player at bigger odds. He can speculatively be included.

Leg 4 Selections: Blue Day, Moswaat
BLUE DAY caught the eye in what was a warm novice race on debut at Newbury when fourth and two places in front of him was Mister Sketch, who has boosted the form in a big way since.
He wasn’t in the same form at Ffos Las next time when fourth in a weaker race but should go close if he can put his experience to good use. I will also add in MOSWAAT who is heavily respected for the powerhouse stable of Roger Varian.

Leg 5 Selections: Mischief Magic
The feature race on the card which has a host of classy horses in the field. MISCHIEF MAGIC won a red-hot Group 3 over course-and-distance around this time last year before winning the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint a couple of months later. He hasn’t been at his best in two runs this year but he is down in grade and should be too good for these if back to something near his best.

Leg 6 Selections: Starlight Nation, Dirtyoldtown
STARLIGHT NATION could be a key player at decent odds. In receipt of weight all around, he finished a close-up third against a couple of higher rated horses at Ascot last time and looks well-handicapped off this initial mark.
I wouldn’t rule out DIRTYOLDTOWN though, who has twice placed off much higher marks despite his overall patchy profile. This will be his first start in a class 4 event, so he might be able to outrun his double-figure odds.
