Leg 1 Selections: Asta Le Pasta, King William Rufus 

ASTA LE PASTA confirmed the promise of his debut fourth when returning a decisive winner of a Market Rasen bumper last term and should take a bit of stopping on hurdles debut. 

KING WILLIAM RUFUS has placed in all three starts in bumpers and the form of his debut second to Captain Teague looks useful. He is the biggest danger to the former in the opener. 

Leg 2 Selections: Moarins Moarnin 

Booster Bob heads the market for the second race but he was beaten 20 lengths into third when last seen and he is seemingly favourite by default despite winning on debut at Ayr. 

Instead, I am going to take a wild chance on hurdles debutant MOARINS MOARNIN who represents a stable that does well with newcomers. He could offer a bit of value. 

Leg 3 Selections: Chasing Fire, I Like To Move It, Pembroke

CHASING FIRE lost his unbeaten record in the Supreme at the Cheltenham Festival but ran quite well back there in April when third and is of interest. 

I LIKE TO MOVE IT was the best of these over hurdles though, and this Greatwood Hurdle winner and Kingwell Hurdle winner is the one to beat. 

PEMBROKE, a Grade 2 runner-up over hurdles, can be shortlisted as well.

Leg 4 Selections: Itsnoteasy

After winning an Irish point, ITSNOEASY fetched a large sum and has already been well-found in the market. 

He could be hard to beat on debut over hurdles for the Olly Murphy team. None of those with experience make much appeal. 
 

Leg 5 Selections: Gentleman At Arms

GENTLEMAN AT ARMS was down the field at Haydock last time but will find this easier and has previously gone well fresh. 

He was placed in a Grade 1 last year and looks well-handicapped off a mark of 126. He should be competitive against these. 

Leg 6 Selections: Bubble Dubi

BUBBLE DUBI took very well to this sphere last year and was last seen running a good race to finish third in the cavani.co.uk Challenger Two Mile Hurdle Series Final Handicap Hurdle, a stronger race than this. 
He returns off the same mark in this contest and needs consideration with plenty more to come.
