Architect Tips shares Tote Placepot tips for Wednesday's action at Kempton and yesterday's Placepot results from Southwell.
16:17 Kempton
Leg 1 Selections: Mezzo Soprano, Giant
MEZZO SOPRANO has looked good in winning both her starts to date and an opening mark of 75 could prove lenient. She gets the verdict under William Buick to potentially remain unbeaten. That said, GIANT is the likeliest pace angle, who went close two starts back under an attacking ride when second, and would have place claims if he is able to stage a repeat of that performance here.
16:52 Kempton
Leg 2 Selections: Odonnell’s Orchard, Age Of Baroque
ODONNELL’S ORCHARD ran below form when only fifth at Ascot but his earlier form is the best on offer in the field, such as his fourth behind Starlust on debut and his fourth behind Action Point in which both pieces of form have worked out really well. If he can translate that form to the all-weather, he has a great chance. AGE OF BAROQUE shaped well when third over track and trip on debut and can do best of the rest.

Leg 3 Selections: Imperial Guard, Endosser
IMPERIAL GUARD finished his race with a late rattle when a close-up third over course-and-distance on debut, which left the distinct impression of plenty more to come. He will take a bit of beating, though ENDOSSER didn’t look short of ability in what was a warm starting point at Salisbury when seventh behind hot favourite Cambridge and should do better with that experience under his belt.

Leg 4 Selections: Middlesex, Phantom Lady
MIDDLESEX progressed from her debut third to finish a good second at Beverley last time and should improve again with William Buick in the saddle. PHANTOM LADY is a daughter of the mighty Gleneagles and cannot be dismissed for a stable who knows how to prepare a newcomer. Again, two against the field.

Leg 5 Selections: Mafnood, Blown Away
MAFNOOD won a good race at Haydock in August which has subsequently worked out well and could up to making a successful all-weather debut having gone close at Doncaster when last seen. BLOWN AWAY, however, beat a subsequent winner in good style in his only previous start on the all-weather at Chelmsford and has to remain of interest.

Leg 6 Selections: Cliffs Of Capri, Nasim
CLIFFS OF CAPRI isn’t getting any younger but he is on a new career-low mark and ran well when fourth in the Leger Legends race at Doncaster last-time-out. All of his course form, which features wins and placed efforts, have all been off higher marks, so he is a definite contender. NASIM looked a touch unlucky when second last-time-out and could gain compensation if making a better getaway from the gates.
