After three winners yesterday, Andy Holding is back with one tip for today's racing action with a NAP at Kempton.
18:30 Kempton
CHALK MOUNTAIN (NAP) (best price 10/3) impressed with the way he disposed of his rivals at Wolverhampton last time out and with Stuart Kittow’s inmate not winning out of turn based on his previous endeavours, his progressive profile should continue to flourish back at a track where he has gone well in the past.
Arriving at the Midland venue following a near miss over tonight’s C&D previously, the four-year-old was one of the market leaders in what looked a competitive handicap on paper but as it turned out, he turned the race into a bit of mockery, winning with any amount in hand.
The way he sauntered to the front like he’d just joined in was eye-catching to say the least and even allowing for the fact he was dossing inside the final furlong, he still managed to post a smart speed figure for the grade.
Just as good over tonight’s surface as he is on tapeta, the son of Outstrip id well to escape with only a slight adjustment to his rating and while still allowed to race in class 5 company, he can continue to make hay.
