HEARTRATE (best price 4/1) must have delighted connections with the way he ran on his first attempt over today's track last time out and having already proven he stays tonight's extra distance well with a good run at Dundalk for his previous trainer. Mark Loughane's gelding should go close to following up his Ffos Las win earlier in the campaign.
Facing some healthy opponents for the grade at Dunstall park venue, the three-year-old raced handy in what turned out to be a very strong pace and although he couldn't quite match the winner's change of gear inside the final furlong, he kept on well enough to finish a creditable third.
Time figure-wise, he took his game to a whole new level according to the data he recorded nine days ago and hailing from a yard just beginning to strike a nice bit of form in recent times - as they often do this time of your year - there appears no obvious reason why he won't have some say in the outcome.

GOT NO DOLLARS (best price 2/1) was heavily involved at the business end of the useful handicap for the grade here last time and with that performance providing unequivocally he stays a mile well; Stuart William's inmate can finally end a frustrating run of results.
Largely know for his exploits over shorter distances for the last two seasons, the five-year-old was stepped up in trip to see whether that avenue was worth pursuing here two starts ago and having put in a decent performance against an improving type, connections were will within their rights to have another crack.
This time he was part of a strongly run affair for the grade and the way he kept on gamely all the way to the line suggested he is just as effective over eight furlongs. Nicely draw and at a track where he has enjoyed quite a bit of success in the past, he looks a worthy favourite on all known form.
