Steve Ryder is back with three tips for today's racing action.

This looks a competitive 0-100 handicap hurdle but preference goes to I’M ON MY WAY (best priced at 9/2) who won on her handicap debut last time and should hold strong claims off a 4lb higher mark. The Neil Mulholland trained seven-year-old was well beaten in maiden/novice hurdles at Newbury at huge prices behind Cheltenham festival hopefuls Willmount and Jeriko Du Reponet but showed a much improved effort to win on her handicap debut at Wincanton last time.
I’m On My Way showed a good attitude to win by a neck that day and the form of that race is working out well. The 2nd finished 2nd on her next start, the 3rd finished 3rd on her next start and the 4th Mairis Icon won by seven lengths on her next start on Saturday. I’m On My Way runs here off a 4lb higher mark which means he is 1lb “well in” at the weights off his new revised mark and he should run well with up to six places available and Paddy Hanlon claiming a handy 3lbs.

LAURA’S BREEZE (best priced at 7/4) narrowly missed out over this course and distance a week ago and she should hold strong claims off the same mark. The Ed Dunlop trained four-year-old finished 2nd by a nose over this course and distance in November off a mark of 59 before getting off the mark at Wolverhampton on her next start. She was slightly disappointing at both Lingfield and Wolverhampton on her next two starts but bounced back to form last time over this course and distance when 2nd by a neck.
Laura’s Breeze won off a mark of 60 a week ago and she runs here from 1lb “well in” at the weights off the same mark. Her chances will be boosted if she can settle better but even a repeat of her latest effort should mean she gets back to winning ways in this race.

Despite being well supported overnight, WAIT AND HOPE (best priced at 13/8) still looks worth backing on his handicap debut. The Karl Burke trained gelding cost 72,000gns as a yearling and connections will have hoped he would end up better than a lowly opening mark of 66. He was outpaced on his three starts at Redcar and Newcastle but will much better suited by this step up to a mile for the first time.
Wait And Hope faces fellow handicap debutants Wadacre Icarus, Juan Solo and Dandy Sands but it would be disappointing if he didn’t get off the mark in this race.
