Andy Holding is back with two tips for today's action.

BALLYCAMUS (best price 4/1) has taken well to fences and following a better effort than it appears on paper at Newbury last time out, Nigel Twiston-Davies’ gelding can go well at a track where he ran well over hurdles earlier in the campaign.
One of the main fancies to land a competitive heat at the Berkshire venue, the seven-year-old popped away nicely towards the head of affairs for a circuit and a half and he still held every chance on the approach to two out. Unfortunately, the combination of just getting a touch weary in the arduous conditions and mistiming the second last meant he made a race ending mistake at that juncture and it resulted in him getting beaten 27 lengths, which scarcely seemed possible the way he was still travelling turning for home.
Prior to that untimely blunder, the son of Presenting had put up a decent performance at Chepstow on chase debut and with the second, third and fourth all going on to boost the form/time figure since, he has strong claims of repeating the dose here today under conditions that suit.

BIRDMAN BOB (best price 9/2) likes it here and with connections well within their rights to step him up in trip based on how he ran over two miles last time out, Andy Irvine’s inmate is fancied to go well again at his local track.
Held up towards the rear at the Sussex venue in a competitive Class 4 handicap 15 days ago, the seven-year-old appeared to be struggling as the tempo increased heading down the back straight but to his great credit he rallied to the cause and finished his race off to chase home the eventual winner. Alto Alto, who bounced back to his best with a vengeance.
A late maturing type who seems to be a good deal more reliable than his was in his formative days, his run style lends itself for him stretching out over 2m4f and although at the same time he’s not one to go too overboard with, he’s still worth a small interest back in grade and at a track he loves.
