Racing Lee gets stuck into the Cheltenham Festival ante-post markets, putting forward three selections with Grade 1 form, Festival profiles and standout value.
Mares' Novice Hurdle
Mares’ Novice Hurdle – CHELTENHAM | CARRIGMORNASPRUCE (1pt WIN)
Best price of 16/1 at the time of publishing.
She ran a huge race when second against the boys in a Grade 1 over Christmas.
She had finished strongly for second in a Grade 3 prior over hurdles after winning as she liked on hurdles debut.
Last season she won a Grade 3 Punchestown bumper, and had beat Sortudo in a bumper, who has won hurdles debut impressively of late.
Placed third behind Bambino Fever, the Champion Bumper winner after that, she looks to hold plenty of class and is potentially overlooked in this.

Arkle Chase
Arkle Chase – CHELTENHAM | IRISH PANTHER (1pt EW, 3 places)
Best price of 20/1 at the time of publishing.
Yes, the likes of Lulamba and Kopek Des Bordes would be hard beat, and should Romeo Coolio pitch up here, he would also be a live player.
But, Irish Panther won well on chase debut, and ran Romeo Coolio very close in the Grade 1 over Christmas.
That was over 2 mile 1, and the Arkle trip is just shy of two miles.
Stop the race at that point at Christmas then Irish Panther may have come out victorious.
With three places available and the race almost certain to cut up, he may be worth chancing to at least fill the frame with those odds and places on offer currently.
Supreme Novices' Hurdle
Supreme Novices’ Hurdle – CHELTENHAM | TALK THE TALK (1pt WIN)
Best price of 8/1 at the time of publishing.
Runner-up in a bumper at Newbury for his former yard, a race littered with subsequent winners.
Switched to this yard for an easy win, and won a Grade 3 as he liked two runs ago.
Stepped up to Grade 1 company at Christmas and looked to be going strongly, showing a nice turn of foot to get to the lead, only to jump cleanly but stumble and fall after the hurdle.
He’s Dublin Racing Festival bound, and if he wins there he’ll be half the price of his current odds.
