Karl Burke's filly made a strong impression when scoring on debut at Southwell in November and could have any amount of improvement to come.

TRIBAL WISDOM bounced back to form when filling the runner-up spot at Southwell last week and goes off an unchanged rating. With a similar performance, he will prove hard to beat. Callianassa returned to winning ways over track and trip last month and is sure to attract plenty of support, while two-time course winner Jez Bomb is another to keep a close eye on.

It could pay to stick with GOLDEN STRIKE in his current frame of mind. Richard Fahey's charge finished in front of the tough and consistent Goldmoyne (third) when runner-up at Southwell a fortnight ago and beat Bobby Joe Leg (second) when scoring over C&D prior to that. The latter could prove the main danger reopposing on more favourable terms, given the veteran won this contest last year.

FLOWSTATE got stuck in traffic at a crucial stage at Southwell last weekend. He would likely have finished closer than fourth with a clear run and, considering he landed a double over C&D before that, David O'Meara's charge remains of interest off his current mark. Course regular Spartan Fighter has been in fine form over 6f here this year and cannot be ruled out, while Beauty Choice is preferred of the rest.

MOYOWASI made a successful return to this distance when scoring a shade comfortably at Kempton on Monday. Equally effective on Tapeta, the four-year-old is taken to defy a 5lb penalty, with Billy Loughnane keeping the partnership intact. Potentially well treated on his previous winning form, Mr Fustic could have a say in proceedings, while Sold Out faced a tougher test at Lingfield last time and returns to this venue with a shout.

Fortunate Star comfortably had Desert Master's measure at Southwell and it's difficult to envisage that form being reversed. Both are taken seriously, but the verdict is for CLASSY CLARETS, who wants marking up for winning at Wolverhampton given everything went wrong leaving the stalls as he reared and was slowly away. A good second before that in handicap company, he's clearly on good terms with himself.

YORKSHIRE GLORY has a 5lb penalty to contend with for winning at Southwell, but he's in really good nick and is back over the same C&D which yielded success two starts ago. The hat-trick beckons and he can edge out Call Glory, who has won twice this year in handicap and classified stakes company. Pit Boss should run his usual honest race too.

Golden Prosperity was running consistently well on the turf and all-weather last summer and boasts every chance if he's ready to roll on his return to the fray. BERNIE THE BEAR can put his superior match fitness to good use, though, and build on a creditable second in classified stakes company here. Watch out for He's An Angel as well.
