ATHENA'S WAR enters calculations on her close fifth over a mile at Leicester in October. That was her best effort by some way so it's no surprise to see Andrew Balding's filly return to that distance for her reappearance and she gets the nod. The more exposed Sovereign Bright could also have a say, while newcomer Desert Belle is a half-sister to the useful Dubai Icon and is another to note.
