This looks a competitive 0-120 handicap chase but preference goes to WICKED THOUGHTS (best priced at 7/2) whose connections have been patient to wait for fast ground. The Paul Nicholls trained seven-year-old won on good to firm ground over this course and distance in November off a mark of 118 before disappointing at Exeter in January on good to soft ground.
Wicked Thoughts returns here from a 74-day break and races off only a 2lb higher mark than his previous course and distance success.

The Joe Tizzard trained SIAM PARK (best priced at 11/2) has a good record at Taunton with form figures of U114 in handicaps at the track. The seven-year-old made all at Plumpton on his penultimate start over fences when a comfortable 4 ¼ length winner before falling behind Vanderpoel at Sandown in January.
Connections reverted Siam Park back to hurdles last time when a close 4th here over 2m½f and he should be suited by this step up in trip to 2m3f off the same mark.

WORLINGTON (best priced at 6/4) hasn’t shown a huge amount of ability on his three starts to date but he looks sure to show improvement on his handicap debut. The George Boughey trained son of Sea The Stars was sent off 125/1, 66/1 and 200/1 for his first three starts over 7f prior to being gelded over the winter break.
An opening mark of 54 should underestimate Worlington who is a half brother to the 100 rated Extra Elusive and the 112 rated Ajaya. This step up in trip to 1m½f should suit and he looks the one to beat.
