HORUS was less than a length behind the winner when filling fourth place over C&D when last seen in January and he makes plenty of appeal off a 1lb lower mark in a first-time visor. Rye's third at this venue three weeks ago suggests that she could be the main threat, although Battle Point and He's An Angel should not be discounted.
Prediction : 1st Horus 2nd Rye 3rd Battle Point

WHISKEY SUNRISE put in a career best when a nose second over C&D earlier in the year and a 1lb rise for that effort may not be enough to stop him from going one better on this occasion. Homme De Fer was third that day and is likely to be in the mix once again, while Timely Affair and Unknown Journey are others to note.
Prediction : 1st Whiskey Sunrise 2nd Homme De Fer 3rd Timely Affair

VOLENDAM has filled second place on three of her last four starts and Tony Carroll's filly appears to be the safest pick in an open event. Dubai Harbour also hit the crossbar on his most recent outing and has to be of interest as a result. Scenario edges out Port Noir and Whiteley Way to be the pick of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Volendam 2nd Dubai Harbour 3rd Scenario

Receipt and Freda have shown some promise but don't set the bar very high and it might pay to focus on the newcomers. Enemy Agent, Pace Attack and Franschhoek all have winners in their pedigrees and form a shortlist of intriguing debutants for future reference. However, GENERIC represents a yard that has hit the ground running over the last few weeks and Andrew Balding's suitably-bred newcomer edges a tentative vote in a wide-open maiden.
Prediction : 1st Generic 2nd Enemy Agent 3rd Receipt

HAMALEEL's C&D win from January is a solid yardstick and, having performed well to finish second when upped in class at Wolverhampton most recently, Archie Watson's filly is a key player off the same mark. Ebn Sabt has form that ties in with the selection and can figure if his Lingfield success in first-time blinkers wasn't a flash in the pan. Although last of four on his latest start, he notably tackled higher-rated opposition than he faces tonight. Last-time-out winners Just A Gambler and Thestral also command respect.
Prediction : 1st Hamaleel 2nd Ebn Sabt 3rd Just A Gambler

CONSTITUTION HILL is a proven crowd pleaser with the demolition job he provided on his Flat debut at Southwell last month being extremely impressive and the 7lb penalty is of little concern for Nicky Henderson's superstar. Classical Allusion cosily landed a maiden at the same venue on his racecourse bow last September. With improvement likely, Andrew Balding's four-year-old is an obvious danger. His stablemate Serviceman and Roadlesstravelled are each-way alternatives.
Prediction : 1st Constitution Hill 2nd Classical Allusion 3rd Serviceman

There are a couple of C&D winners in here and KNIGHT TEMPLAR is the most interesting of them. He put a disappointing Lingfield effort behind him when finishing a solid second at Southwell and the five-year-old has since won over hurdles. Naasma is the other previous track-and-trip winner and she has performed well in defeat at Lingfield this year. Sword Of Wessex is another to take seriously.
Prediction : 1st Knight Templar 2nd Naasma 3rd Sword Of Wessex

MUMAYAZ can send his supporters home smiling and looks the clear pick of Tony Carroll's pair now tried in first-time blinkers following an improved Wolverhampton second. Stable companion Terries Royale showed a bit more at the Midlands venue latest and commands respect, while it'll be interesting to see what the market makes of course scorer Mr Ubiquitous and Safari Dream on their return to action.
Prediction : 1st Mumayaz 2nd Terries Royale 3rd Safari Dream
