THE LIFFEY can complete a hat-trick of claiming-race wins. Initially trained by Aidan O'Brien and rated as high as 98, he has recently taken well to all-weather racing and, suited by today's distance, should take all the beating under his 7lb claimer. Una Matata is similarly suited by this C&D but while she has strong recent handicap form, she is held by the selection on February form. Benavente has useful recent form and has bottom weight but drops markedly in distance, which is concerning. Prediction : 1st The Liffey 2nd Una Matata 3rd Benavente

BISHOPTON returns following a mini-break and is well suited by this C&D. He followed up a course maiden win last August with a second success in September at Down Royal and while his rating has climbed, he was only beaten a half-length on his most recent start and he is now partnered by a 5lb claimer. Stablemate Whistling Jamesie won an ordinary nursery here last October, while fellow three-year-old Spinning Around scored narrowly over track and trip a few days later.Prediction : 1st Bishopton 2nd Whistling Jamesie 3rd Spinning Around

JAZZY DANCER is a four-time winner with useful recent form. An able and consistent handicapper at this level, he is just 1lb higher than when finishing second here recently. Fellow veteran Comfort Line finished narrowly ahead of Sakakawea last week and both have obvious claims, while Roman Harry wasn't beaten far into fourth last time. Jasmine Affanalis has yet to show much on the all-weather, but she was progressive last summer and should benefit from a recent reappearance run when a huge market drifter. Prediction : 1st Jazzy Dancer 2nd Comfort Line 3rd Sakakawea

NUMIDIA was well beaten on his most recent start but has proven stamina and scored over C&D in November. A four-time winner, the keen-going eight-year-old did a little too much when making the running here in January and if he reverts to his previous form, he should go well in this winnable handicap. Mephisto did very well in good-ground staying hurdle races last summer and although pulled up in September, he has been freshened up and has form over track and trip. Sarmiento Power steps up to this distance for the first time, while Deluca Chop's best form is over shorter. Prediction : 1st Numidia 2nd Mephisto 3rd Sarmiento Power

Robson De Aguiar has a large team of juveniles and MARIA QUITERIA appears to be the trainer's first string here. Bought for 25,000 euros at the Orby Sale last September, she is out of a winning mare who has already produced an American sprint winner and she should know her job on debut. Stablemate Belle Island is a half-sister to four winners, while Whammy is out of a French juvenile winner. Arrowstock's trainer has had success with juvenile runners and the Cotai Glory filly is another whose dam scored as a two-year-old.Prediction : 1st Maria Quiteria 2nd Belle Island 3rd Whammy
19:45 Dundalk
WILD SAPPHIRE is lightly raced and contests an ordinary maiden. Out of a middle-distance Group 2-winning sister to Kyprios, he has clearly had some issues but nonetheless has shown promise and, if he reproduces his Leopardstown fourth, he should take all the beating. Gaiety Girl has recent solid form and bumped into a well-in winner here earlier this month. She is noted along with Tyraxes and Good Onya Mate.Prediction : 1st Wild Sapphire 2nd Gaiety Girl 3rd Tyraxes
20:15 Dundalk
Three-time winner STORM ERIC has yet to win beyond a mile but has been running well over C&D recently and has solid claims. His rating climbed to a peak of 72 in 2024 and while winless since January 2025, he has found some form again and is worth another chance. Barretstown is a four-time winner who finished narrowly behind the selection last time. He's respected along with Captain Hanley.Prediction : 1st Storm Eric 2nd Barretstown 3rd Captain Hanley
