NANOSCIENCE appeals as the type who can improve as a three-year-old after progressing with each start last season. Andrew Balding's filly seemed to appreciate the drop to 7f when third at Newcastle in October and this appears to be a suitable opportunity for her to strike. Divine Wish outran her 80/1 odds when fourth over C&D in January and has to be on the shortlist along with Rajwaah, whose dam is an unraced sister to Group 1 winner Nezwaah.
Prediction : 1st Nanoscience 2nd Divine Wish 3rd Rajwaah

PENFOLDS GRANGE went close to getting his head back in front when denied on the line over C&D at the end of February and compensation may await the four-year-old, despite a 2lb rise for that effort. Nordic Norm remains on the same mark as for his Chelmsford near-miss last month and has to enter calculations. Others to consider include Havana Touch and Magical Merlin.
Prediction : 1st Penfolds Grange 2nd Nordic Norm 3rd Havana Touch

WINDING STREAM looked a decent prospect when scoring on his racecourse debut at Southwell and the son of Almanzor makes plenty of appeal on his return to action. Magic Trip found the step up to Group 3 company too much when sent to Italy after winning his first start at Bath. This contest should see him in a better light, while Balzac is entitled to be in the mix after a promising run at Newmarket in September.
Prediction : 1st Winding Stream 2nd Magic Trip 3rd Balzac

Lion of Mali arrives following narrow wins at Wolverhampton and over C&D. James Fanshawe's charge must be respected given the rate at which he's progressing, but preference is for SHAFI. A Southwell novice winner back in October, he failed to see out the mile at Chelmsford but can be seen to greater effecter over this trip. Pints In Peace broke the maiden at Wolverhampton, but Deluded wasn't disgraced in a valuable sales race at York when last seen and looks the bigger threat now handicapping.
Prediction : 1st Shafi 2nd Lion of Mali 3rd Deluded

MOMENT OF LIGHT (winner) had the measure of Parisian Scholar (second) when the pair met over track and trip last time and although a 6lb swing should favour the latter, it might not be enough. Starship Trooper shaped with promise on his return at Southwell three weeks ago and should be capable of better, as might Green Falcon, who sports first-time cheekpieces for his handicap bow.
Prediction : 1st Moment Of Light 2nd Starship Trooper 3rd Green Falcon

Arry Up beat MADMAN to make a successful handicap debut at Leicester back in October but hasn't been seen since, whereas the runner-up is battle-hardened from a winter on the all-weather. Tom Ward's C&D winner was pipped at Lingfield on his most recent appearance and his conqueror has followed up since. Lovethiswayagain is of definite interest now trying handicap company for the first time, and Corniche Girl should be in the thick of the action too.
Prediction : 1st Madman 2nd Arry Up 3rd Corniche Girl

Em Four kept Brazen Idol at bay to strike over C&D, although the second was appearing for the first time in almost two years and is 2lb better off. Even so, they may both have to settle for supporting roles behind STATE OF MADNESS, who beat Em Four to the runner-up berth at Southwell and has since left Charlie Clover to join Mark Loughnane. Ruby Red Gove lost nothing in defeat when attempting to supplement a Wolverhampton victory at Southwell and she rounds out the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st State Of Madness 2nd Brazen Idol 3rd Em Four
