1:45 Kempton

1:45 Kempton- Creative Queen (1pt)

This looks a competitive opener at Kempton but preference goes to CREATIVE QUEEN (best priced at 15/8) who cost 800,000 euros as a breeze up purchase by Wathnan Racing last year. The William Haggas trained filly was sent off 4/9 for her debut at Newcastle in a three-runner contest where she was hampered by the winner late on and was beaten less than a length at the finish.

The form of that race hasn’t been tested since but it looked good on paper and Creative Queen can get off the mark at the second attempt.

3:30 Kempton

3:30 Kempton- Bahadur (1pt)

The Sean Woods trained BAHADUR (best priced at 4/1) returns here from a 128 day break but can hopefully maintain his unbeaten record in handicaps. The four-year-old ran with credit in novice races on turf last year before winning three AW handicaps over the winter. He won narrowly on all three occasions at Kempton, Newcastle and Wolverhampton so the handicapper has only raised him 11lbs in total so he could still be underestimated.

Bahadur runs off top weight here in this 0-90 handicap but should prove hard to beat with James Doyle taking over on board.
