Go Rimbaud (1pt)

Best price 10/11 at the time of publishing.

There are some interesting newcomers in this race but the standard is set by the 82 rated GO RIMBAUD (best priced at 10/11). The John & Thady Gosden trained colt has run with credit on all three on his starts last season including when 2nd behind 2000 Guineas prospect Talk Of New York over this course and distance in October.

Go Rimbaud was narrowly beaten by a head on his next start when dropped to 7f here but looked the type to develop from two to three. He is back up in trip to a mile here and looks the one to beat.

Atmosphere (1pt)

Best price 9/4 at the time of publishing.

The Richard Spencer trained ATMOSPHERE (best priced at 5/2) has a good record at Kempton in his career and the booking of Champion jockey Oisin Murphy is a signal of intent. The four-year-old has form figures of 11332 here in this track and was only beaten a length when 2nd over a mile here three weeks ago off a mark of 73.

The handicapper has raised Atmosphere 1lb for that effort which is fair and as long as Oisin Murphy can get him in a prominent position from Stall 9, then he should prove hard to beat.
