ROSE GHAIYYATH (best priced at 4/1) tops the ratings with an official mark of 102 following her 10 th
placed finish in the 1000 Guineas last time and she should be better suited by this step up in trip to
1m2f based on breeding. The Richard Hughes trained filly won on soft ground in France on her debut
in August before finishing a close up 4th at Doncaster in the May Hill Stakes on her final start last
season at Doncaster.

Despite being sent off 50/1 for the 1000 Guineas on her reappearance, Rose Ghaiyyath ran well to
finish 10 th beaten only 5 ¾ lengths in a race that has worked out well. The likes of Precise (7th),
Venetian Sun (11 th ) and Inis Mor (12th) have all won since with both Abashiri (5th) and Spicy Marg (8th) also running well since. Based on breeding, she should appreciate this step up in trip to 1m2f and
shouldn’t have any concerns about the soft ground.
