TORQUAY ROAD is a three-time winner who has a solid chance under his 7lb claimer. The winner of two consecutive handicaps last year, the selection has since shown form over fences and while well held at Kilbeggan last month, drops in class here. Rich Belief scored in a similar claimer at Wexford 13 days ago but has to concede 11lb to the selection, while Woodstream Lad finished second in a Clonmel claimer last month and should also be competitive.
Prediction : 1st Torquay Road 2nd Rich Belief 3rd Woodstream Lad

FAMILY GETAWAY was beaten long distances in hot maiden hurdles last winter but had shown some promise on debut and now contests a weak race. The selection needs to show more but was only behind the leaders when falling at the third-last at Cork in November and is open to progression. Clash Gold showed some ability at Tramore in April and is feared most, while Scathach completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Family Getaway 2nd Clash Gold 3rd Scathach

KOLIATH DE COUELY was narrowly denied on his only start over hurdles in France last June and subsequently bought by current connections for 150,000 euro. It will be interesting to see how strong he is in the market while Goldenkap, a half-brother to six winners including the smart Gold Tweet, is another to note. Lilac Lady was third in this corresponding race 12 months ago and has also been placed here on her latest two starts, including when reappearing over C&D last month. Hopeful Hero and point-to-point winner Killowen House, placed behind the long odds-on Doctor Du Mesnil on his debut under Rules at Cork, are others to consider.
Prediction : 1st Koliath De Couely 2nd Lilac Lady 3rd Killowen House

AINE'S LAD opened his account when scoring in good style at Thurles earlier this year and again shaped well when switched to fences staying on well into third behind One Horse Army at Fairyhouse. The Matt Smith-trained gelding appears versatile in terms of ground conditions and will appreciate this stamina test. Attaboyarchie was very unfortunate not to collect at Limerick last time after Emma Sweeney was unseated in the closing stages when her saddle slipped. However, he still remains a maiden after 29 starts. Patrick Mullins is a significant booking on Private Policy, who enjoyed a step up to 3m at Punchestown last month.
Prediction : 1st Aines Lad 2nd Attaboyarchie 3rd Private Policy

TRADONTHEBAY was second to a facile odds-on winner here a month ago, but his fifth at Ballinrobe last time is the run that makes him of interest on handicap debut. Having made a lot of the running, the Snow Sky gelding finished only 6l behind a fairly reliable 117-rated third with a Grade 2 bumper winner between them. The handicapper elected not to take that form at face value, and Paul Gilligan's runner can take advantage of his unchanged mark of 95. Wide-margin Downpatrick winner Joya Del Mar is now 10lb higher, while Lake Okeechobee showed notable improvement when fourth to Larkins Lane at Limerick and might fare best in the rematch.
Prediction : 1st Tradonthebay 2nd Lake Okeechobee 3rd Joya Del Mar

Willie and Patrick Mullins are going for four in a row in this mares' bumper and TACOGRAPH will be hard to beat after a promising debut at the Punchestown Festival. A rallying third against geldings in a valuable sales' contest, the daughter of Blue Bresil should be suited by this longer distance. Fourth in a Listed bumper at Fairyhouse and fifth against geldings in a competitive event at Ballinrobe, Moyneard has solid claims. Her brother Long Draw is a smart three-mile hurdler, so she might also appreciate this step up in trip. Local runner Circus Hill was second over C&D last year and ran well over hurdles on her return to action.
Prediction : 1st Tacograph 2nd Moyneard 3rd Circus Hill
