This is wide open and a chance can be taken on JANNAS JOURNEY. Jim Goldie's mare had been in the doldrums this season prior to an encouraging effort at Carlisle, which could be marked up given that the trio that finished in front of her were all unexposed three-year-olds. She's back on her last winning mark and may be capable from a handy berth. Quest For Fun (third) and Inspired (fourth) met over C&D last month and could be in the mix, as might Lir Speciale and Count Palatine.
Prediction : 1st Jannas Journey 2nd Quest For Fun 3rd Inspired

A confident vote can be afforded to Eve Johnson Houghton's EVERATEASE. The A'Ali colt displayed clear ability over 5f earlier this season, but he came into his own when running away with a similar contest at Chester last month. Undercover Affair was held in second that day and has since won himself, as has the third Furturra. The booking of Silvestre De Sousa aboard the Ollie Pears-trained Baila Morena catches the eye because she did run with credit at Redcar latest, and it is still far too early to be writing Tamam Star off.
Prediction : 1st Everatease 2nd Undercover Affair 3rd Furturra

DANDANA was highly tried after notching up a brace of novice wins in her juvenile campaign and although that didn't quite work out, there could still be some juice in a handicap mark of 93. The Blue Point filly is fancied to make a successful return to action, but Ripon winner Beaujolais Nouveau won't go down without a fight. Lady Roxby, Rhyme Dust and Splish Splash all take a drop from Listed level and can't be underestimated, nor can bottom-weight Bintaryana, who arrives following a creditable second at Haydock.
Prediction : 1st Dandana 2nd Beaujolais Nouveau 3rd Lady Roxby

George Boughey trained the winner of this last season with a newcomer and tries for more of the same with Mehmas filly Divine Whisper, with the booking of Australian jockey Zac Lloyd an interesting one. Tim Easterby runs two with Musselburgh winner Cailin Aine and May Bee In Profit, who scored at Carlisle, and they may prove the biggest dangers to BIG NEGOTIATOR. After her half-length Listowel second, when caught over further, the return to this trip appears ideal.
Prediction : 1st Big Negotiator 2nd Cailin Aine 3rd May Bee In Profit

Rathgar is looking for his hat-trick after wins at Newbury and Epsom, the latest by a length after making all, and similar tactics can see him involved. He could prove the biggest rival to the lightly-raced ANTIPODES, a winner on his final start last year and again on his return in 2026 when scoring by a head at Windsor. Stepping up in trip may bring the improvement needed to shrug off his 6lb rise in the handicap, with Cloth Of Gold and Astro King also of interest.
Prediction : 1st Antipodes 2nd Rathgar 3rd Cloth Of Gold

The runner-up on his first couple of outings this year, SCHRODINGER'S CAT lost his chance when missing the break here last time. Normally consistent, Grant Tuer's charge could make a bold bid if back on song. Progressive in nurseries last term, Straight Ahead shaped well at Thirsk on his reappearance. He could be in the mix, along with the recent novice stakes winner Forest Phoenix and Angel Numbers.
Prediction : 1st Schrodingers Cat 2nd Straight Ahead 3rd Forest Phoenix

17:18 York

This shorter trip is not a problem for the recent 1m4f winner Say What You See, but a 5lb penalty could be. Last year's winner Dawn Of Liberation shaped well at Beverley last time and another bold bid looks on the cards, but it could pay to stick with Salisbury winner DOVEY MOON. Progressive over a mile, he could have plenty more to offer over middle-distances and David Evans' charge gets the vote.
Prediction : 1st Dovey Moon 2nd Dawn Of Liberation 3rd Say What You See
