ARDEEN JOY was in the process of challenging the leader when she fell at the last at Limerick and is well worth another chance. She had shown a glimmer of ability at Cork the start prior and should still be capable of better. Spring Waltz was a commanding winner of a point-to-point at Ballindenisk last month and should be monitored in the betting ahead of her Rules debut. Everyday Life also arrives from the pointing sphere and is of interest, along with Miss Jocund.
Prediction : 1st Ardeen Joy 2nd Spring Waltz 3rd Everyday Life

GOODIE GIRL was a winner at this venue in May of last year and was in contention when falling two from home at Fairyhouse next time. She returned to no avail on the Flat at Ballinrobe last month, but that should have blown away the cobwebs and Dermot McLoughlin's mare is expected to take a step forward. Emesteraye receives 10lb from the selection and needs to be taken seriously having shaped with promise when third on her seasonal return/handicap bow at Wexford. Cozone and Goodie Girl's stablemate Liceo are others to consider.
Prediction : 1st Goodie Girl 2nd Emesteraye 3rd Cozone

NAKASSAMA just failed by a head after a sustained duel with the winner in Ayr and could go one better. Jockey Oran McGill was on board then and definitely gets a tune out of the six-year-old as last summer the pair won over flights in Hexham and were second in a qualified riders' maiden on the Flat in Galway. Western Model will enjoy this ground and would have to be given claims on some of his chase form last year. Hakensack unseated four out when leading at Limerick and is interesting at the lower end of the weights. Forever And A Day can go well on handicap debut as her runner-up berth in a Down Royal maiden hurdle has been franked.
Prediction : 1st Nakassama 2nd Western Model 3rd Hakensack

Nothing Hectic should be monitored in the market given the eye-catching jockey booking. HEY BABBS wasn't beaten far in third in a qualified riders' handicap hurdle over further at Bellewstown and has a shot at doubling her career total with first-time cheekpieces deployed. Lady Fromentro starts out in handicap company with plenty of weight, but she was a solid second in a mares' maiden hurdle at Wexford in May. Moonshine Girl is a long-standing maiden, but her runner-up berth over a similar trip in Limerick last month was a notable display. True Harmony showed much more in second at Wexford and a reproduction of that effort would bring him into the equation.
Prediction : 1st Hey Babbs 2nd Lady Fromentro 3rd Moonshine Girl

MAGIC DAY had an excuse when finishing third at Tramore in April, but that was a creditable performance nonetheless. The mare has trip and ground in her favour, so it would come as no surprise were she to progress on this handicap chase debut. Driveonwill landed a beginners chase over track-and-trip recently and must enter calculations, especially given that Shane Markey takes a handy 7lb off his back. Veteran Finnians Row bolted up over C&D last month but does have a bit more to do having been raised 7lb by the handicapper subsequently.
Prediction : 1st Magic Day 2nd Driveonwill 3rd Finnians Row

SAUNTON SURF shaped with real promise at this venue on her chasing debut last month. She steps up in trip with plenty of scope for further improvement but even so, a similar level of performance might suffice. Tropical Image went close at Listowel earlier this month and should still have more to offer, whilst fencing debutant Anodandawink is most appealing of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Saunton Surf 2nd Tropical Image 3rd Anodandawink

RAJJNATIN switched to hurdles with a solid effort when fourth at Kilbeggan at the end of last month and the step up to 3m on his return to the larger obstacles may unlock some improvement. Doyen Wolf hit the frame on his latest outing at Sligo and can enter calculations off a 1lb higher mark on his chasing debut, while others to consider include Miss Lia and Fr Gilligansvoyge.
Prediction : 1st Rajjnatin 2nd Doyen Wolf 3rd Miss Lia

KATIE CAN'T COUNT gets the vote to make a winning debut for Willie Mullins. From the family of J'y Vole, who won at the highest level over fences for the Closutton master, this contest doesn't have much depth which gives her what seems to be an ideal opportunity on paper. Flashy Fred placed on his sole point start and is of interest, while Corway is entitled to improve following his fifth at Kilbeggan.
Prediction : 1st Katie Cant Count 2nd Flashy Fred 3rd Corway
