VELVET VEGA was second to subsequent Ribblesdale winner Earth Shot on her introduction at Newmarket before finishing third behind a couple of well-bred types at Kempton. Those efforts are strong enough to suggest the John & Thady Gosden-trained filly is the one to be on. Food For Thought was a disappointing favourite at Chepstow, but is bred to appreciate stepping up in trip and can pose the selection a few problems. Hatta Romance outran 200/1 odds on her debut, but needs a big step forward to avoid finishing third.
Prediction : 1st Velvet Vega 2nd Food For Thought 3rd Hatta Romance

Nymphaea is consistent but she's also a 13-race maiden and her limitations are plain to see. TWO PLUS TWO got back to winning ways at Bath on his penultimate start and wasn't beaten far when attempting to follow up over C&D. Off the same rating, the Ed de Giles-trained six-year-old has solid credentials. Regally Blonde and Star Of Jupiter are best of the rest.
Prediction : 1st Two Plus Two 2nd Nymphaea 3rd Regally Blonde

MY BOY HARRY comfortably had Rusheen Boy back in third when he won at Lingfield three starts back and need only to match that level to add to his tally. The latter won a match race at Yarmouth a fortnight ago and can give his old rival plenty to think about if coping with a 5lb rise. However, Perfidia is back on a winning mark and could be a bigger danger on these terms. Mbappe is also potentially well handicapped and dangerous to underestimate.
Prediction : 1st My Boy Harry 2nd Perfidia 3rd Rusheen Boy

KOODINI has raced exclusively at Chester so far and the son of Kodi Bear produced his best effort when runner-up last time. The experience gained will stand him in good stead and can be used to his advantage on a more conventional track. Cheeky Chesca is likely to be involved in proceedings based on her consistency, while Crowned outran his odds when third at Windsor and it will be interesting to see how he progresses from that outing.
Prediction : 1st Koodini 2nd Cheeky Chesca 3rd Crowned

FENLANDER has taken his form to a new level with a brace of victories at Leicester. The most recent of those under Christian Howarth was very impressive and a 9lb rise isn't likely to stop him progressing further. Cuban Lady didn't run too badly at Bath and could improve for the addition of first-time cheekpieces, while Return Of The Gods heads the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Fenlander 2nd Cuban Lady 3rd Return Of The Gods

IRISH DANCER outran his odds of 28/1 when occupying the runner-up berth at Thirsk recently and the handicapper may have been kind to leave his mark alone for that effort. With a similar performance, he could be the one to beat. Despite twice suffering interference, Invincible Crown dead-heated for fourth behind the selection in that contest, and it would be no surprise to see him go close with a smoother passage. Doralee is another to watch out for.
Prediction : 1st Irish Dancer 2nd Invincible Crown 3rd Doralee
